Tips for Surviving a Fling with a Sexy Younger Man

First, you’d think as a thirty-something-year-old woman, I’d be immune to Griffin’s flirty comments and six-pack abs. You’d think that his carefree playboy attitude, or the fact that he’s still finishing grad school would deter me.

You’d be wrong.

If you accidentally bang your best friend’s younger brother, here are a few important tips...

One: Do not brag to your friend about how well-endowed her brother is.

Two: Do not go back for seconds (or thirds).

Three: Do not let him see your muffin top or jiggly behind. And definitely don’t let him feed you cookies in bed. Cookies are bad. Remember that.

Four: Act like a damn grown-up and apologize for riding him like a bull at the rodeo. And do not flirt with him when he laughs at said apology.

Five: This one is crucial, so pay attention.

Do not, under any circumstances, fall in love with him.

Layne and Griffin

This trope of books is not usually my favorite as so often I don't like how the characters are portrayed but since I love Kendall's books I jumped in anyway. She did an amazing job of portraying Layne as a strong, career oriented woman, who still wants a husband and kids, Griffin was always mature beyond his years but in the few years the book takes place, he really grows up and into himself, proving how much the age difference doesn't matter. Griffin knows from day 1 that Layne is forever but it takes her time to realize this. Years of a deep rooted friendship leads to a deep rooted love unlike any other. Kendall Ryan did an amazing job with this book.

wonderful

this story is great. people seem to think age is what shows maturity. people have stigma about age gap in relationships. it should be who makes u happy.

this love story and self discovery was so well narrated and written.

great book.

beautiful older woman/younger man romance

Emma Wilder and Christian Fox are an absolute dream combination. Emma especially blows this great age gap (older woman/younger man) story out of the water. This truly showcases what a great narrator she is. Kendall Ryan has written a beautiful story and the only thing keeping it from being 5 stars for me is that I think Layne was too uptight/spent too much time obsessing about the age difference that she lost too much time being without a man who truly loved her.

Slow burn swoon

Griffin and Layne were a sweet and sexy couple that took a while to figure things out. Kendall Ryan took a beautiful and realistic approach to an age gap and friends to lovers story and I fell in love with Griffin as well. Christian Fox and Emma Wilder were fantastic as always and brought the sexy and sultry to these charming characters.

Just fabulous and totally smitten!!

I loved, loved, FLOVED How to Date a Younger Man! I laughed! I swooned! I was totally smitten! I’m gonna dare say that this might be one of my top Kendall Ryan books lately. I do wish that her stories had more character development but it seems to be her way of writing as all her books are like this. It was totally a sweet, slow burn. The energy between Layne and Griffin was through the roof! I couldn’t get enough of these two and know this will be an audiobook I listen to again and I like never do that!

The narrators, Christian Fox and Emma Wilder, were the best! Fox played Griffin like a flute… all soft and musical. He has a voice that is impossible to not go into a trance with. Wilder was an amazing Layne. She’s the older woman and she did come off as older but she dripped sex appeal. I really enjoyed the narration!

Everything I hoped it would be!

Kendall is an auto-listen for me, so I’ve had this one in my wish list forever!! And Griffin and Layne are fantastic! I’m very grateful that there wasn’t the more darker tones that some age gap or unrequited love stories can take on. Their progress flowed, and felt natural and real.

Griffin for sure makes book boyfriend list!

Loved It All

Another awesome story from Kendall Ryan. Beautifully performed by Christian Fox and Emma.Wilder. This age-gap, slow-burn romance has great characters that will make your heart melt. Even though there are ten years between Griffin and Layne, Griffin doesn't care. But Layne has other ideas. She does mind but with Griffin’s persistence and patience her wins her over. I loved the pace of this story. It wasn't insta-love but one where you got to see the characters and their relationship grow. So when they did finally get together, you appreciated it more.

Loved the book

I loved the book especially Griffin. At times Layne got on my nerves but Griffin’s character made up for it.
