About this listen

I’m a curvy sports geek.

Liam’s a hockey god.

He’s way out of my league…

My brother’s best friend is acting really weird.

Flowers keep showing up. He sends me Cameos and concert tickets.

Then, there’s the job offer…

Well, first, there was the fact that he tracked me down to NYC.

It’s really complicated, okay? But so are my feelings for him. I’ve been ignoring them for so long that they became a wall I’m comfortable hiding behind.

Damn him and his sweet, hot, cute, dirty-talking self who has cherry-picked his way into every aspect of my life.

I’m not complaining… but there’s a problem.

Not that he’s my brother’s best friend. Oh, no. Liam Donnghal is a future Hall-of-Famer NHL star. He could have any girl he wants, so why would he want to make the wallflower his end game?

END GAME, book one in the New York Stars' series, is a standalone hockey romance.

She falls hard, he falls harder ~ Golden retriever hero, black cat heroine ~ Found family ~ Pining hero ~ Brother's best friend ~ Curvy heroine ~ Hockey god hero pierced for her pleasure ~ Band of brothers ~ Marriage pact.

Hit it out of the park...

📚 Book Review 📚

Liam and Gracie have know each other for basically forever. After all, Liam billeted with Gracie’s family and become best friends with her brother. The problem? They are both in love with each other and the other does not even realize. This have driven Gracie away from her family, where she has moved from her home town in Canada to New York. Where she can blend in and no longer just be “the sister of the famous Bukowski brothers”. Yes, brothers as in plural. In a family of siblings where they all have made an impact on the world, Gracie feels like she is not good enough. Not good enough for her family, the world, and Liam. But when Liam moves to the New York Stars after his kidnapping, Gracie can no longer stay away. Liam has changed because of the kidnapping and he needs her more than before. She has no idea, though, what all he has planned. The important thing is to remember the number 35.

Goodness. This story is everything I needed and more. Gem is an amazing story teller and always puts her heart and soul into her stories and it shows. Even though this story was not as dark as her others, it was just as perfect. I cannot wait to see what all lies in store for the Bukowski brothers!

Teddy Hamilton and Samantha Brentmoor really blew this out of the park. Excuse a pun for the wrong game. Teddy really can make anything sound good but pair it with amazing writing like we see here? And it is amaze-balls.

End Game is an outstanding audiobook!

End Game is an outstanding audiobook!
Between the amazing storyline and witty humor, the dynamic energy between Liam and Gracie is utterly perfection. Not to mention the over-the-top perfectional narration by Samantha Brentmoor, and Teddy Hamilton.

Good but a bit too long

The story was good, cute romance, but kind of drug on and not much to the end.

Two of my favorite narrators brining to life one of my favorite books! What’s there not to love?? Liam and Gracie’s story is truly one of love and support between these characters. Gracie has always felt like the black sheep of her family. Being a girl and not playing hockey like her brothers and billet brothers she has been overlooked and under appreciated. Not anymore if Liam has anything to say about it!

After Liam was rescued from a kidnapping ransom plot he retreats into himself. The only thing that keeps him going are hockey and thoughts of Gracie. He uproots his life in Canada to move to New York to be closer to her. That’s when he starts to slowly come back to life. Gracie encourages him to meet his extended family he had no idea about yet seems to run the city. Doesn’t hurt that they own the hockey team he now plays for.

This is a love story all about making up for lost time, hockey and honestly true love. Absolutely perfect!

Liam and Gracie for the win!

The writing in this book is perfection. You laugh, you tear up and you swoon over these two and their journey to a HEA. Add in the duel narration bringing these characters to life and you have the trifecta!!

Fantastic start to a new series!

I am loving this new lighter series with this author! Liam and Gracie were such sweet characters, and honestly, Liam’s golden retriever energy gives me faith for men out there. He is so sweet and kind, and the way he years for Gracie but always fights for her will make you swoon. I love that we see their friendship develop throughout the years, and though it is a slow burn, you get to see a solid foundation of romance. I am so looking forward to the other books in the series!

The audio with Teddy Hamilton and Samantha Brentmoor was fantastic! I loved seeing Gracie and Liam’s lighter side as they fall in love, but also as they deal with darker issues too. Highly recommend the audio and these narrators.

35/10 Stars for Gracie & Liam!

For the love of hockey, leprechauns, and homemade pierogi G.A. Mazurke has written a top shelf hockey romance. End Game is “10 seconds left in double OT of Game 7 in the finals” level captivating. I was crawling out of my skin to know how it turned out, but I never wanted it to end. Gracie is a force of nature and my new favorite book bestie. Liam flipping Donnaghal was an insta-love book boyfriend for me. His arrogant “hockey god” facade made me grin, but the thoughtful, bighearted, haunted, attentive cinnamon roll with the ultimate slow play made me fall hard. The “mine” energy goes both ways with this couple and I’m here for every second of it.

I have been aching for the audio of End Game since I first read it and Ms. Mazurke, Teddy Hamilton, and Samantha Brentmoor have created a must-listen hockey romance. Experiencing Gracie and Liam’s complex love story come to life through Teddy and Samantha’s amazing performances was truly delightful. I’m in a state of infinite swooning over Liam’s long game and subversive cinnamon roll antics and Teddy portrayed him perfectly. Samantha’s portrayal of Gracie’s fabulous bad bish personality was phenomenal. She captured every ounce of the lovable, vulnerable, tough, cactus-like, hockey queen book bestie beautifully. If you’re looking for a romcom with an edge and love some hockey in your romance, End Game is a must!

Couple Goals!!

This story will tear you up some, but put you back together in all the ways you want and more. I love Liam and Gracie and the way they are just so perfect for each other. These 2 people are carrying a lot of baggage and trauma, but manage to find healing in each other. The audiobook was absolutely fantastic! Teddy Hamilton and Samantha Brentmoor nailed these characters. Teddy conveyed everything from heartache, fear and longing to determination, spice and love. What a powerhouse performance! Samantha really brought Gracie to life expertly conveying her strength, hurt and tenacity. I thoroughly enjoyed this cast and highly recommend this audiobook.

Gracie and Liam ❤️

I thoroughly enjoyed this sports romance. End Game, written by SerenaAkeroyd/G. A. Mazurke. Hockey is unfamiliar to me, and I was a tad concerned I may have got a little lost with references and terms specific to this particular sport. No need to be concerned at all. The hockey character is delightfully woven into Gracie and Liam’s journey.

Huge admiration for Gracie deciding to make her break from her hockey obsessed family and forge her own destiny. “hockey makes me feel forgotten and isolated”. This made me sad! Good on Gracie for standing up!

Can Liam be any sweeter! Dealing with his trauma and competing as an elite athlete, Liam always put Gracie first. He could see the despicable behaviour her brothers showed towards Gracie and he wasn’t going to stand for it. Don’t we all wish we had a Liam in our corner?!

The text banter is witty and highly entertaining, whether it was between the FMC and MMC or with the mates. I loved it all.

What is there to say about Samantha Brentmoor and Teddy Hamilton….their performances as Gracie and Liam had me completely captivated. Their portrayal of Gracie and Liam’s vulnerabilities, strengths, determination and love is perfect.

Thank you G. A. Mazurke for this beautifully written story. I cannot wait to be taken further into this world of the New York Stars you have created.

Freaking loved this!

It started off a little slow but changed gears to a whole lot of hot sex, sass, and funny banter. Text chats were the best! Especially at the end when Liam and Gracie were texting Gray, lol. But it wasn’t just the good stuff that made the story interesting. It was how the author humanized the characters and made you feel each characters trauma and heartache and how they unconditionally fought for and supported one another that did it for me. They were so trusting.
