Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Very simple and effective
The author makes the science of stress approachable, and the S-I-M-P-L-E framework is exactly what it promises—simple, effective, and easy to apply. It’s not just theory; it’s practical advice from someone who’s been there.

Finally, a stress relief guide that actually works
I don’t usually write reviews, but after listening to this audiobook I felt the need to share my thoughts! I've gone through multiple self-help books to help manage my stress, but this is the first one that has truly delivered practical techniques that are easy to incorporate into daily life.
I love how the author makes the book extremely relatable! I found myself nodding along to her personal experiences - it was evident that she truly understands the impact stress can have on someone's life. This connection made the book all the more engaging and impactful.
The audiobook itself was an excellent listen, and I’m now planning to purchase the physical book as well. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to take control of their stress and improve their well-being

Life changing book, a must listen!
This book lives up to its name - so simple yet so informative.
Not only does the author explore the different causes of stress, which really helped me engage with stress as a concept to better understand how to overcome it, she also steps through through many different and easy to follow strategies to cope with stress.
I've been quick to stress out for a long time and the strategies detailed in this book have really helped me focus on what's important and zone out the daily stresses that have stopped me from being present.
I've incorporated self talk, really focusing on what I can control, and journaling into my daily life and it has made a huge impact!
The production, narration and audio quality are great and make it such an easy listen.
Would highly recommend!

Game-Changer!
As someone who is constantly grappling with stress and its physical and emotional tolls, How to Stop Being Stressed is a true game-changer. This book is a comprehensive guide to understanding and managing stress, presenting practical solutions in a way that feels both approachable and empowering.
The author takes a deeply empathetic tone, clearly recognizing how overwhelming it can be to deal with stress-related challenges like insomnia, headaches, and the sheer mental exhaustion of juggling life's demands. The strength of this book lies in its actionable strategies, particularly the S-I-M-P-L-E framework, which is a standout feature. Each step is designed to be easy to follow and implement, even for those who feel like they’re drowning in chaos.
How to Stop Being Stressed is not just another self-help book; it’s a lifeline for those of us seeking to regain control over our well-being. Highly recommended for anyone ready to reclaim peace of mind and transform their life into a more balanced and joyful one.

One of the best stress management books I’ve come
Having been fighting stress for quite a while (and failing at it), I’ve been searching for a guide to stress management which I could actually incorporate into my daily life, and I’ve finally found one. This was an incredibly engaging listen where many scientifically backed techniques were broken down in a straightforward manner.
In the past I’ve brushed over so many approaches to stress management which didn’t feel like they’d make a massive difference. Things like laughter, intrapersonal communication and breathing techniques. Their importance and value was emphasized very well within this book and I’ve already planned to include all of the suggested methods into my daily routine.
I’ve found this book to be way more accessible than others I’ve read on similar topics, where others seem to talk at you whereas this guides you along in a much more seamless manner. I particularly liked the parts where the author talked about her own personal battles with stress which gave the book an authentic feel.
I personally found the narration to be very calming, yet emphatic when needed. That, coupled with the excellent crispness of the audio allowed for a great listening experience. Would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a realistic guide to attaining a healthier mental state of mind!
