Excellent, excellent, excellent!
As someone who has been endlessly seeking a practical book on the topic of mastering one's emotions, I was excited to come across this one. This has got to be one of the best books that I have read in a while, and I've read a lot of books. In fact, the author presented such great content, that I often times found myself having to pause the audio version because I was in such deep thought and didn't want to miss the next part of what was going to be discussed! This book is a life-changer for me!

I Listen the preface and the introduction to The Practicing Stoic. Facile to detect the direction and clear examples
The author doesn't claim this is audible of Stoicism, but the philosophy and practice it sets forth amounts to Stoicism. This is a fairly good introduction to Stoicism.
