About this listen
Even in the future, dames still need help, criminals still need capturing, and men still hire out to do both! Hugh Monn, Private Detective, the debut collection from author Lee Houston is a New Pulp mash up of two classic genres-the hard boiled detective and science fiction!
Join Hugh as he walks the glittering, yet dark streets of Galveston 2 and finds as much mayhem and corruption in the future as there's ever been!

The book is billed as a mash-up of science fiction and detective novels. It so completely works! Hugh Monn is a human living on a planet called Galveston with a host of friendly and not-so-friendly aliens. The listen is a compilation of short stories that has Hugh putting his detective skills to work. I loved them all!!!
Milan's narration delivers as well. That man is incredible!!! He made this book next-level.
I only have one issue with this book and that's the cover. Hugh is constantly telling people his age (late 20's, early 30's) but the cover depicts a much older man. It's minor, I know, but still.
I loved. loved, loved this book!!
Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!!
