Promotes a sense of wonder

Just excellent on so many levels. The story is so good. It shows an attitude within adversity that demonstrates strength, resiliency, and hopefulness. Olive, her family, and friends are endearing. The story is filled with wonder and excitement. Nothing too "new agey". The narration by the author is excellent, which, often, cannot be said. She puts the right emphasis on Olive's contagious optimism, enthusiasm, and even her vulnerability. I highly recommend this book.

Touching Read

This one will stay with me for a while. it is the story of strength and Resilience in the face of challenges that many of us never deal with. plus, add in a little magic and wonder along the way. What a story! Think, Out of My Mind mixed with Because of Winn Dixie. Outstanding. and the audio version is a treasure, read by the author herself! Highly recommend for my upper elementary friends!

Brilliant and Magical

Loved every second. 🥰 So happy Ms. Lloyd narrated her own book so the story sounded as it was meant to. ♥️

Lovely book

I do enjoy Natalie Lloyd’s writing. This is not my favorite of her books, but it was great. My 8-year old daughter loved it as well.

Sweet Ending!

I think this is a wonderful young reader's book. This is a sweet book about a girl with a disability, but it doesn't stop her. The storyline exciting to follow to see where her life will lead her. And the ending is the best part! I highly recommend this book!
