About this listen

The good news: Zoey's friends have her back again and Stevie Rae and the red fledglings aren't Neferet's secrets any longer. The bad news: Ancient evil with the face of an angel has been let loose - that and various other nasties (whose faces aren't so angelic). Grandma Redbird is in trouble. Heath is in trouble. The House of Night is in trouble. Okay, let's face it - Zoey's whole world is in trouble! But when the trouble comes from a being who appears to be beauty personified, will the world believe it? Especially when only a teenager and a group of misfits are the only ones who really understand the danger he brings. Will Zoey have the strength and wisdom to reveal the truth? Especially when, in the House of Night, the truth is often hard to come by.Listen to more titles in the House of Night series.©2009 P.C. Narrator did great, y’all just liked the other better. She did great, she had great voices. She was just different from the other girl and it was startling. I personally enjoyed her performance, and I hope she didn’t lose this job just bc of the reviews.

Haters

I love this series and it’s one of my favorites but I hate you changed the narrator! The other woman did a better variety of voices but this one sounds like a little girl. Please change it back!

Don’t switch Narrators!

Read this series in high school and doing a reread for the spin off series they did and it’s like reading it all over again for the first time and it’s still just as amazing.

The series that leaves you wanting more

Really sad that the narrator is not the one from the first book. Although this one is not as bad as Cassandra Morris, it sounds like a child too.

Series was much more enjoyable with the voice of Edwina Wren.

Good book, a not so good narrator

The House of Night series is tagged as YA, and so it is (lots of teenage angst) - but I can honestly say I have enjoyed, and I am in my (ahem) mid-30's! :)

The plot is very interesting, and each book leaves you wondering what will happen next! I am looking forward to the next release in the fall!

Great series!

Loved the book and Jenna Lamia does a wonderful job. I do wish she would have narrated the first ones.

Wonderful listen

Sex hungry, vampire wannabe, Zoe Redbird is a powerful and special teenager whose adventures are related in the five books that encompass the series House of Night. In the three months that transpire in the 5 books published so far, she manages to juggle 4 boyfriends, dead and undead friends and very powerful enemies. The books are repetitive, and with a tint of male downgrading, and homosexual loving tendencies. The books are also entertaining and have an interesting and smart approach behind the vampire genesis. The language is that of teenagers and is fresh and entertaining. I do recommend the reading/listening of this captivating book series.

easy reading/listening.
