This is the first audiobook I have listened to read in a virtual voice. It lacks emotion, character distinction, and overall is flat.

Attention keeping plot. some unnecessary redundancies in the story, and the AI narration lacked something in terms of pronunciation of foreign names. but overall, a really good romp thru archeology, with good vs evil and interesting characters! highly recommend, and I'll be reading more by this author!

Stilted pronunciation of some names

A lot of the filler gets boring! Too much detail that's unnecessary to the plot or going back over the same information over and over! But overall plot is good and written well otherwise. Editor should have cut a lot of the yadah yahdah out and made it an 6-8 hour book. There are times I fast forward through more than one chapter at a time and I don't miss anything vital. That shouldn't happen.

Great plot but should be shortened by 2 hours

Listening to this series out of order (on accident) and they are still good as stand alone. I don’t feel like I’m missing a lot from previous books.
