Good story but would rather have a real narrator.
Not crazy about the virtual voice. Mispronunciation of some of the words and some inflection was odd.

Needs inflection and voicing
Overall the AI is fine but very flat. No excitement or fear, etc. also when multiple individuals are talking, there’s no voicing to separate the individuals.

Embarrassing to admit that I listened
The story uses a virtual voice. The virtual voice sounds like a young twenty-something, but the inflections are all wrong and there is very little modulation. Statements frequently sound like questions. I understand why an author would be tempted to use a virtual voice for narration to save $$$, but this was not a good choice.
The story is also extremely week. It is an amalgamation of similar stories. I would not be surprised if the story is also AI written. If were the author, I would be embarrassed to have my name on this audiobook. I was embarrassed that I listened. It was free, but it wasn't worth the time.
I also know audio is strong sponsoring virtual narration, and I am sorry to see that. Give me a R. C. Bray or a Tim Gerard Reynolds any day.
