Another great installment!

I really enjoyed this one! It pulled me in from beginning to end and had me fully engaged the entire time. I loved getting to see more of Lexi and Striker in this one as well and watching them deal with life continuing to get thrown at them. This time around, Lexi's psychic warning system seems to be going a little haywire. It is definitely giving a warning but not following the normal ways and she feels both of her parents sitting over her shoulder and anxiety filled but things aren't clear. It makes her wonder if it is real or if something else is going on and after her brain injuries if a little bit of paranoia is setting in. To top that off, she is being pulled in a couple different directions with the CIA, FBI and being undercover, and then Gator and Kristin's wedding all pretty much happening at the same time. There is a lot of intrigue in this one with all the moving pieces as Lexi tries to figure out what is causing the anxiety and worry, what is off and how does it all connect. This one was well done and definitely had a good twist with where things end up going. I really enjoyed it and can't wait for what is coming next for Lynx and Striker!
The narrator did a great job with bringing the characters and story to life with the action and emotions that are showcased with all the characters.

How?

How does chapter 7 expect me to believe that the "Woman" on the cover passed for 18?

Great as usual

Not as easy to follow as others, kind of too much looking back, so you get confused where you are, but still great.

Continuity and new adventures creates a beautiful story.

Quinn brings many threads together in this tale of intrigue. And with it, evokes a sense of fable as well. The story reminds the reader that vengeance rarely yields the desired results, and often one is not aware of the whole story.

Great characters, action, suspense

This book has wonderful characters, suspense, action, and writing. I love the way the words are woven together. The story is full of mystery and reveals more of Lynx which I really enjoyed. And I love that the Cerberus dogs made an appearance. It really is a fantastic book that I know I will listen to many times. I love this series! The performance for the female characters is really very good. The performance for some of the male characters not so much, but for the main ones, it is very good. This book is definitely worth a buy.
