Publisher's summary

When Malcolm Abernathy decided to open his mysterious repair shop in a sleepy little town like Mountain Home, Idaho, he never suspected how quickly his establishment would become the center of attention. Within weeks, he’d developed a reputation for being able to fix anything that found its way through his front door, and business was booming.

The thing is…when your intention is to remain below the radar, an ever-expanding reputation is the last thing anyone needs, and soon, old problems and long-forgotten adversaries begin to resurface. Despite his reluctance to revisit the ghosts of his past, sometimes in order to move forward, you have to go back again. In doing so, Malcolm realizes that a few of the broken things requiring his attention…aren’t things at all.

Broken? Not Any Longer

Malcolm Abernathy owns a little shop where he fixes "things," which is a little misleading because he also fixes people. Wonderfully warm story about a guy just trying to live right and do right in the world and care about his fellow humans.
Colin Campbell's narration was great. Riano McFarland is able to write a fascinating story in any genre that he has attempted.

I fix broken things

This was a really good story! I was expecting horror, for some reason. It is not. It is full of good feeling stories until the bad guys show up.I enjoyed it. Narration by Colin Campbell was very good, though over the top at times. I was given this book free for an honest review.

Story

I love how the writer adds simple things to a complex plot. Characters come alive in this story. Love how the ending comes together.

Oh the things that can be fixed

So many things in life can be fixed if we are willing to look at them with fresh eyes. Some times it takes a stranger to show what we have always known

Solid story from start to finish

This is a solid story! Characters are well developed and the story flows smoothly. This book was not what I expected - which is awesome! no spoilers here - there is something for everyone: unusual shop and "fixer", a little romance, a local mobster, even an international terrorist, with no graphic sex or violence which I appreciate.
The narrator was great and easy to listen to.
This was my first book from the author and I will be looking for more!

Healing the Past Through the Present

Malcolm Abernathy is definitely something special he has the ability the know just what his customers need to mend a broken soul. I really started to question did this book have anything to do with the paranormal because of his uncanny ability. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire story especially the twist that kept me on the edge of my seat. I became invested in the story and needed to know what was goingvto happen next and what made Malcolm tick. I also wanted to know his secrets if he had any. I highly recommend this book. I was not a big fan of the narrator but please don't let that stop you from enjoying this phenomenal book. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own volition.
