About this listen

Metaphysical writer Laura Cone, a journalist for more than 20 years, explains why INFJs often feel as though they have derealization disorder. How the inferior "sensing" function comes into play for the High Priestess of the tarot deck, who is skilled in the sexual arts. The INFJ underworld is an icy place as INFJs retreat from a world.

Her life is often a contradiction as she takes on the role of an actor observing everything from a distance. But an INFJ will be in the moment with a soul mate, the Magician card of the tarot deck, who casts a spell to lure in the seductive High Priestess.

brisk and logical narrator

and a pretty solid text to boot. i like it when the author is being totally direct--when she's talking about the psychodynamics of derealization, and so forth. when she talks about these various archetypes--the queen of cups, etc.--it leaves me cold. laura cone could be a great author, but i really wish she would stick to straight non-fiction instead of mixing her analysis together with deeply obscure astrological references. the narrator really makes it move.
