- Tips for INFJs to lean into the strengths of their tendencies as well as accept their limitations
- How to navigate consistent challenges such as balancing energy, creating healthy boundaries, and combating perfectionism
- The vast potential of INFJs to contribute to the world and carry out their purpose in ways only they can.

This audiobook explains what it truly means to be an INFJ and, more importantly, it explains why you do the things that you do. INFJ is one of the rarest results of the Meyers Briggs test and, therefore, it can be difficult to find worthwhile information about it. One of the qualities many INFJs share is that they tend to be pessimistic and feel perpetually stressed and often don’t know why they feel that way. This audiobook will show you how not only to live as an INFJ but to excel being one.

Story
As David Brooks observes, “There is one skill that lies at the heart of any healthy person, family, school, community organization, or society: the ability to see someone else deeply and make them feel seen—to accurately know another person, to let them feel valued, heard, and understood.” And yet we humans don’t do this well. All around us are people who feel invisible, unseen, misunderstood. In How to Know a Person, Brooks sets out to help us do better, posing questions that are essential for all of us: If you want to know a person, what kind of attention should you cast on them?

At least one-third of the people we know are introverts. They are the ones who prefer listening to speaking; who innovate and create but dislike self-promotion; who favor working on their own over working in teams. It is to introverts—Rosa Parks, Chopin, Dr. Seuss, Steve Wozniak—that we owe many of the great contributions to society.

Like a thumbprint, personality type provides an instant snapshot of a person's uniqueness. Drawing on concepts originated by Carl Jung, this audiobook distinguishes four categories of personality styles and shows how these qualities determine the way you perceive the world and come to conclusions about what you've seen. It then explains what they mean for your success in school, at a job, in a career, and in your personal relationships.

Up to 40% of people consider themselves shy. You might say you're introverted or awkward, or that you're fine around friends but just can't speak up in a meeting or at a party. Maybe you're usually confident but have recently moved or started a new job, only to feel isolated and unsure. If you get nervous in social situations - meeting your partner's friends, public speaking, standing awkwardly in the elevator with your boss - you've probably been told, "Just be yourself!" But that's easier said than done - especially if you're prone to social anxiety.

So Helpful for INFJs!
This was so helpful for me as an INFJ! I feel like I truly understand myself better now. I feel I’m more able to embrace who I am and feel proud of my unique, positive qualities, as well as better understand what I struggle with and why. It also offers many helpful strategies for establishing healthy boundaries and better self-care as an INFJ. I’m very grateful and plan to listen to it many times.

Informative and useful, annoying grammatical errors
This book really did have some nuggets of wisdom and practical advice. It seemed to summarize a lot of reading I’ve done regarding introversion and sensitivity. I didn’t really care for some of the points which seem to say that people that identify with the INFJ personality type are more special than others. I just don’t agree with that idea. Seems like it would be easy for someone to be trapped into a thought pattern where their self-worth and identity is wrapped up in an acronym. But it was concise and to the point. The downside, the reading is really mechanical and there are some obvious grammatical errors. Annoying, but if you can overlook it I think it’s worth a listen.

Groundbreaking!!
I absolutely loved this book and it's unsettling insight into who I am. I was recommended this book by a fellow INFJ and went into it not expecting much. But what I got instead was valuable insight into who I am, and how I can accept and love my personality. The only down side comes from how short the book is, but I would hardly consider that a negative.
