Publisher's summary

They say everyone has a doppelgänger. Hers was a killer.

With only sixty-three cents in her pocket, Molly is way down on her luck. No job, no food in the fridge, no power at her cold, dark apartment. Her mom won't take her calls. Her ex only lives in her memories.
Worst of all, she might be getting evicted.

At the grocery store, a posh woman approaches Molly. "Wow, we look so much alike."
Indeed, it's uncanny.

The posh lookalike, Hester, offers to buy Molly lunch so they can chat. Who's Molly to turn down free food?

"I'd give anything," Hester sighs, "to get away from my life. Just for a weekend."
What kind of life? A great job, a fancy house, a very attentive rich fiancé, Cyrus, whose name sounds familiar to Molly. But so much pressure.

"Just for a weekend?" Molly asks.
Or is it?

USA Today bestselling author Jennifer Griffith's debut romantic suspense novel, If Looks Could Kill, will grip your heart and drag you through page after tension-filled page.

***** "I loved Molly and Cyrus and all the many characters. This story had me turning page after page and staying up all night! I loved the mystery. I just couldn't put it down. This is a clean mystery romance." --Donna, advance-copy reader

First virtual voice book that wasn’t bad!

Story was great, I was suspicious because of the virtual voice. This is the first time I’ve heard one that you can understand the story, and the inflections are 70% there.

A I sucks

The story was good, but I will never listen to an A I narration again!! it was horrible and distracting to the point of wanting to stop listening. Really bad.

The ending! I LOVED it!

I liked how the character, Molly, changed so slowly over time, that she was able to see herself as a completely new person by the end.

I liked how the suspense built.

I suppose it is a little fantastical to think that two people could look exactly alike, but I enjoyed the characters.

I loved it!

I love the suspense built throughout the whole story and the happy ending was perfect. I didn’t know what to expect the whole time. Great prose.

Different voices

The story itself wasn't bad. it was the two different women virtual voices that did the role of the main character

Horrible Narration

Monotonous and boring with the computer narration. Couldn’t get past chapter 10. Story was interesting until it wasn’t. Not sure if it was just the narration I couldn’t get past.

Virtual Voice is Terrible

I enjoyed the story enough to keep listening to the terrible narration. The virtual voice lacks depth and makes some sentences hard to understand.
