About this listen

Whoever Controls the Altar Controls the Outcome

Throughout Scripture, God's leaders built altars where He met them in powerful, miraculous ways. God still longs to pour out His power at those altars. But we've been seduced away by worldly wisdom and man-made distractions and plans, leaving us ineffective against the evil sweeping across our land.

With insight and humility, international leader and pastor Rick DuBose shows the path back to five forgotten altars—and ultimately, the path to your place in heaven's throne room. Full of real-world application and encouraging inspiration, this book will help you ignite a fire for effective prayer, stand your ground in five key areas, create a culture of prevailing prayer in your church, and build spaces to repent, receive, and encounter God.

It's time to storm the altars and pray with humble authority that moves heaven—and unleashes victory here on earth.

Enlightening and Encouraging!

Excellent telling of altars. Pastor Rick supported his teaching with Scripture backing. This was a great read and listen. 😊

This book is a challenge and a guidebook.

When you get this book, you will understand prayer. Once you understand prayer, you can apply prayer effectively. Once you apply prayer effectively, you will advance the kingdom of God.

It's that simple. It's that effective.

I would also, before you read/listen to this book, advise people to read the story of King Ahaz of Judah which is recorded in 2 Kings 16. It is the story of a wicked and unrighteous king who tears apart the altars of God and desecrated them to use in worship of the false Gods of Assyria. In this story you can see that the altars we pray at are truly places of power, and targets which the enemy will seek to control if we allow him.

As you read this book, dont allow distractions or hindrances to prevent you from understanding the importance of the altars of prayer. Prayer moves mountains, changes nations, and saves souls.

As Rick states in this book, "He who controls the altar, controls the outcome." Take this opportunity today to understand how to latch hold of the altars of prayer, and to effectively pray to see the Kingdom of God advance.
