About this listen

A Pride and Prejudice What If...? story.

What if...Mr Collins had been even more despicable than in Jane Austen's original tale?

Would such an infamous relation destroy Elizabeth and Darcy's chance of happiness forever, or would his actions set in motion an entirely different sequence of events?

This Mr. Collins is one of the worst I’ve heard so far, but everyone else is also a better version of themselves. We see a stronger Jane, in particular.

The story, overall is great, and worth a listen.

Collins at his worst

Now I have both read the book and listened to the audiobook. Loved it. Horrid Mr. Collins. I highly recommend this book to a Jane Austen fan fiction lover. ODC has a HEA as usual :)

Great story

The story picks up from P&P at the point where Darcy gives Elizabeth his explanatory letter at Rosings Park, but the train runs off the rails at that point. Mr. Collins sees the letter (before Elizabeth opened it) and reacts wildly. In the few days following, many things happen on the road to the HEA.
As well as being a good writer, the author, Catherine Bilson, is an excellent narrator. This is usually is not the case.

Rev. Collins is horrible

generally not a fan when the author also reads the book for audiobooks, but this was well done. thank you.

This was a very enjoyable book when I read it a few years back, but the author has proven she has more than one talent. I found the audio version delightful. I look forward to more.

Author is also talented performer
