About this listen

The Montgomery Ink saga from NYT best-selling author Carrie Ann Ryan continues with a road-trip romance between two friends running from their past.

Brenna Garrett needs time to think about a major decision but finds herself bringing Benjamin Montgomery with her. The problem? He's her best friend's twin, so there's no escaping that familiar face.

Benjamin didn't want to leave his family in a lurch, but Brenna isn't the only one who needs a break. Only a drunken mistake leads to a night of passion with unintended consequences.

When it turns out they can't walk away, they'll have to make a choice: Remain just friends or start something new and possibly risk everything.

Including themselves.

I absolutely adored this story! Brenna and Benjamin go about things a little backwards but with everything going on and all the connections they have it just seems to work for them. When Brenna ends up pregnant it forces them to confront the issue that they were both going to try and ignore, the attraction and chemistry with each other. I loved watching them come together without trying to overstep on the other's toes or send them running as their paths changed and started to intersect in a much closer way than before. This was an entertaining read and while they definitely had their issues/bumps in the road, felt like a little smoother fall into the relationship though they were both holding back on the feelings, both to themselves and sharing with each other. This story had plenty to hold my attention from beginning to end and I really enjoyed reading it.
The narrators did a fantastic job with the story! I truly enjoyed listening to this book.

This was a great story. I loved Brenna and Benjamin. It was interesting how they sort of blindly stumbled into their relationship. I loved how it was characters that we were already familiar with that were put together first as friends who realized that they had other feelings. I love how they became less worried about what others would think, and more worried about what they themselves thought. This was a fun story. The narration and performance was wonderful.

When Benjamin tags along with Brenna on her road trip to her family reunion their lives take a turn that neither of them expected.

I enjoyed Benjamin and Brenna’s story. The two are good friends and neither one wants to lose that friendship. Their story is a sweet romance full of emotions. Brenna is a strong woman, but she was exasperating at times while she figured it all out. Benjamin is a good man and ready to prove to Brenna that there is more than just lust between them. Benjamin quickly endeared himself and I loved seeing the way he fought for what he wanted with Brenna. The two make a good couple and it was nice to see the way their relationship takes shape. As always, the family and friends are all intertwined, and I enjoyed seeing the way everyone comes together for one another. Narrators Aaron Shedlock and Emma Wilder do a nice job of bringing the emotions out in these characters and pulling the listener in.

Welcome to the Montgomery's, where anything goes. And what a way to announce you're pregnant.

Brenna is so confused. She was planning on having a baby, just without a daddy involved. Now, she has the best daddy she could ask for but she keeps pushing him away. Will she ever figure out that it's not too good to be true?

Aaron Shedlock is such a great narrator. He brings his stories to life. And Emma Wilder has always been one of my favorites.

Everyone in the Montgomery family assumed that Brenna was in love with Beckett, and worried about her when he fell in love with her friend Eliza. She never felt like that about Beckett and has done her best to convince everyone that she only ever thought of Beckett as her best friend. Because of this misconception, Benjamin has always damped down his feelings for Brenna and has tried to only ever think of her as a friend something he's been very successful at.

Brenna has been making plans and keeping secrets, not because she doesn't think everyone wouldn't understand but because it's something she wants to do for herself, she wants a child and has decided to do it alone, well with the help of a doner. She'll tell her friends when she's achieved her goal and is pregnant. But before this happen she needs to go home and visit her family and has decided to make it a road trip instead of flying.

Shortly before her planned departure Benjamin, having been asked for a very special favour by his ex and her new partner realises he needs to get away and asks if he can join Brenna on her road trip. Benjamin is the quiet, thoughtful but growly twin but they've always got along so Brenna says yes.

During their trip, he confides what has been asked of him to Brenna and she, in turn, tells him what she has decided to do. The trip is going well until a storm hits and they end up having to share a room, they have both been drinking but are in no way drunk but the barriers are down and passions run high. After the trip, it's agreed it will never be repeated or mentioned again but then you know what they say about the best-laid plans......

Inked Devotion is the 3rd book in the Montgomery Ink: Fort Collins Series and I have to say I loved it and thought that Benjamin was so good with Brenna, he was there for her even when she was horrid to him, it's a feel-good story about the journey Brenna and Benjamin take together.

The narration by Aaron Shedlock and Emma Wilder is excellent as always they know these characters do well they are able to bring them to life beautifully.

I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.

After the end of Inked Obsession, I have been waiting for this book. Benjamin is the twin of Brenna’s best friend Beckett. Everyone thought that Brenna was in love with Beckett but she never felt that way. When both need a chance to clear their heads Benjamin asks to tag along on her road trip to her family reunion. I loved all the twists in this book and it keep me edge of my seat. I can’t wait to see what happens next in the world of the Montgomerys.

I can not say enough good things about Emma Wilder and Aaron Sherlock. They make a great team!
