Super short book, yet packed with great ideas

I loved all of the creative angles for song fodder. The blank page will never look intimidating again.

Pretty motivating, short pep talk.

The book is quite well narrated for its genre. There was a bit too much self-promotion on the front and back for a less than one hour book, but that's the business for you. The material was actually quite motivating, and consisted of a few well supported bits of advice. I'd recommend it.

A Great Little Guide

Whether an experienced song writer, a new one, or somewhere in between I'd recommend this book. It's short and easy and has an idea or two you may not have tried, or in my case several of them.

The book brushes shallowly through topics that should be discussed deeply.

The few ideas in the book are very useful; however, this book is what a trailer is to a big movie. The book brushes shallowly through topics that should be discussed deeply.

The book will definitely point you in the right direction, but if you’re looking to learn how to write a song, this book is not for you.
