Publisher's summary

Some people seem to be born with a mental makeup that predestines them for success. But anyone can master their mindset. Dave Anderson shows you how.

The author of 15 books and host of the popular podcast The Game Changer Life, Dave's guidance has impacted readers and listeners in more than 145 countries. Now, he shares a unique blueprint for developing the mindset you need to succeed, presenting foundational strategies for intentionally developing and strengthening what he calls the ACCREDITED traits: attitude, competitiveness, character, rigor, effort, discipline, intelligence, tenacity, energy, and drive.

Throughout the book, listeners will follow the progress of three "case studies". The frustrations, progress, and victories of "Fred". "Frank". and "Frances" will replace the sterile or academic approach so common in personal development books with a more accessible, personal, and actionable experience. What's more, Anderson provides an optional 70-day follow-up course to integrate the book's lessons into one's daily routine and accelerate results. All materials for this course, including a downloadable workbook and 70 supporting videos - one for each day - are provided at no cost at LearnToLead.com.

Amazingly convicting and inspiring!

I have to say that listening to the stories of the three characters, I could see myself in about two, at least. The dry humor is fantastic. Kept me focused on the story line.

The only thing better than this book is seeing Dave Anderson live. I've been blessed twice.

An amazing inspiration and self challenge.

Dave does it again. Finds a way to teach in an intertaining and self challenging , always unapologetic manner that is so refreshing in today's world. Thank Dave, please keep it going!

Too politically correct

Definitely a woke book. Author has a woman be the best in the office and two men who are not as good. You gotta be careful pushing your woke agenda in this arena because eventually all of the manly characteristics, like work ethic and killer instinct, will be disallowed to be published as well. Find another book.

Good, but with much recycled content

If this is your first self development book you will gain a lot, however if you are like me and you read a lot on self improvement there is a lot of recycling ideas here. There is a lot of talk of ideas and ways to make improvements but not much in the way of detailed plans. Anderson goes in depth talking about the details of different ideas of improvement and success but there the details on how to get there are much less in depth. As I said, this is a great starting point.
I did enjoy his personification of different ideals and behaviors in the stories of Fred, Frank, and Francis. But again, these stories were essentially “here’s what Francis does to be successful...” with little application in to how to actually apply it.
The stories of the Wisconsin Basketball team also add to the storytelling.
I would recommend this to a beginner in the journey toward self improvement.

Nothing new

You most likely won't learn anything new. get better rest, nutrition, hydration. Have a positive attitude. Overcome diversity. Work smart and hard. Work at work. stay focused on your goals. all the normal things motivational speakers say. All true and good advice. However, the overwhelming number of people that would buy a book like this already know these things.
