Publisher's summary
Read by the author, Into the Dark is a firsthand account of what happens to us when we die. Allison DuBois walks her listeners through death as described by "those who live again".
Although death may seem like a dark, quiet, empty place to be, once you go into the dark, you will find out that death has a lot of color and a pulse!
Through her ability to communicate directly with the dead, Allison DuBois relays the wants, desires, and experiences of the deceased. The dead have their own world, but it is important to them to also remain a part of ours.

I begin the audiobook describing how spirits talk to me and how you can see signs, too. This gives us a footing to delve into the many stories that are told from both my perspective, and in the words of the person being read.

The truly gifted also know that their gifts are not unique, that they can be cultivated by anyone with a sincere and open heart. Philipps illuminates all of this for listeners by demystifying what he does, sharing more than 20 inspiring stories of people receiving signs, and, most wonderfully, by providing step-by-step guidance that allows listeners to receive afterlife communications themselves.

Soo much wisdom!
Allison is the real deal. A great book to help anyone understand their own experiences with signs, dreams and intuition. I especially love that Allison narrates her own words in this one. A great book!

Wonderful for those working through grief
This book helped provide so much comfort! The stories were wonderful as Allison gave us the perspectives of the living and those that were on the other side…as well as reading the a few letters written to her and her response. At one point, you could literally feel her sorrow as she reflected on the grief process experienced when her father transitioned.

Fascinating
I really enjoyed this book. I look forward to more by Allison DuBois. The reading was an added boost to her story, to hear it in her own words. I felt her emotions. It has helped me to get through loss of my own.

So uplifting for someone dealing with grief
My wife took care of her mom for 15 years. She was suffering from Alzheimer's disease. After her mom passed away my wife wanted to take her own life. After a reading with Allison, she has taken some encouragement. This book is perfect for her. It gives such great answers to questions.
Although I've taken encouragement from this book and for other books written by Allison. I've spent a lifetime ignoring and suppressing my abilities as an empath. And Allison answered so many of the questions that I would have written in to ask. But now I have to explore what that means and how to help my infant daughter who is an old soul and already shows signs of abilities.
