Publisher's summary

The inspiration for the hit television series Medium, Allison DuBois now brings listeners into her psychic experiences in We Are Their Heaven. Recalling her communication with spirits who have touched her over the years, she reveals that the dead are trying to reach their loved ones all the time, not because they're bound to us, but because we are their happiness, we are their heaven.

In moving stories of loss and connection, Allison presents the riveting details of some of her most memorable readings, and her clients share the significance and impact of their experiences making contact with long-lost loved ones. Drawing on her years as a medium, she discusses the essential elements of communicating with the deceased, explaining the need to read both their signs (the message) and their signature (the unique information). She also explores some of the methods used by the dead to contact us, including timing, coincidence, auditory and sensory communications, incident manipulation, dreams, and visions.

Guided by her strong desire to help these two worlds connect, Allison offers a message of comfort for anyone missing a loved one: through the thousands of readings that she has done, no one has come through to say "good-bye", but rather to say "hello again".

Amazing & Comforting!

Having lost a loved one prior to purchasing this audio book, I now feel totally comforted that he is not gone forever and that he is truelly in a happy, lovely & better place both mentally & physically. The author is amazing and I trust everything she says! She has a beautiful, open, honest, heartfelt way about her. I was very skeptical, but after listening to her, I just know she is all about the truth. I now live knowing that my loved one has only left the earth, not left forever and I will see him again when I leave the earth too, or sooner if I become more spirtual myself and learn how to communicate with him. He is most probably with me right now in spirit! It all sounds cooky & weird, but after listenning to this audio, you won't think so. I am also less afraid of dying in general, which is also a great comfort to carry throughout life.

Great insightful and informative book.

I loved this book and the narration by the author was great. I enjoyed how she gave validation to my personal beliefs about our loved ones still being around us.

Wonderful!!!

This is such a wonderful book to read after you have lost a loved one. It made me realize that there are things we can watch for and ways we can communicate with those that have passed. I thought I was just imagining some of the things that were happening since my grandmother passed, but now I see that she can send me signs to let me know she is there for me when I need her. I was so close to her when I was growing up and now I realize she is still there to guide me if I just ask. Thank you Allison Dubois

Love this book!

This is her best book - I found it really endearing. People tell their stories of communicating with their loved ones in their own words. It is a really wonderful read!

Enlightening

This is opening my eyes to something I didn’t think existed or just never wanted to think about until my best friend, my Dad, left very unexpectedly. It still breaks my heart but Allison’s book has already started to help…

Fantastic

I absolutely loved this book. It has variety in the actual narration, provides varied perspectives on the events and I believe a positive spin to the immense loss that we as survivors feels when someone we love passes.
This may sound odd ...but the section on suicide completely made me rethink me opinions on it. Having lost a friend this way i think you are always plagued by the "what-ifs". I guess in some way i managed to find some peace for myself in the text.
I was riveted to this audio. I drive a lot with work and could not wait to get back into my car to listen ... i think i booked more out of town work just so that i could listen to it!
It was an emotional experience listening to this and i have recommended it to several friends.
You have got to listen to it....

Why be defensive....What do you have to prove?

First off. For those critics that judge the sophistication and writing style of Allison's book you do so not knowing that when God gives certain gifts like the ones Allison has he does so without strings or games that must go along with the gift. So, any communication of the gift must be as simple and stripped down as possible. No need to prove or pass a test. This book was written well and exactly how it should be written.

But,
This book could have been so much better. The defensiveness taken on by having to prove validity ruins and cheapens the pureness of it all,
Being guarded makes story seem weak. The first story, Candice's mother labeling "The Western Way " of thinking... Their hang ups of denying existence of her experience with her daughters visitation??? was insulting...As if people in India or Asia wouldnt question her experience? She states having to be careful who to share with, only talking with "believers" Well how in the hell do you get others to see when you are labeling them as "Western Ways"
It is the developed nations ie Western Culture that is the most acceptiong of new ways of thinking /walking through life. Just as Ameeica who once had the greatest healthcare system in the world allowed a cheap fake Barry Soetoro to destroy, replacing with Obamadeathcare. Health care should never be managed by an ORG GOV

Isnt that what this is all about. Our own fear of death or the death of our family that drives us to use a Medium to make sense purpose of life?

To me. Soneone who has never had one experience like those of Allison and her Medium organization, Its depressing to see them all constantly try to prove to others the validity of it all. The stupid "study" they participated in? Just make the connection? Why? Keep it simple stupid KISS and you will resoect the dead better. But, I get it...Its more about making money or finding the resources to make money from it all.

Share your gift. Dont dissect it because thats when you cheapen it and disrespect the dead.

All and all a good book.
