The tales of The Silmarillion are set in an age when Morgoth, the first Dark Lord, dwelt in Middle-earth, and the High Elves made war upon him for the recovery of the Silmarils, the jewels containing the pure light of Valinor. Included on the recording are several shorter works. The Ainulindalë is a myth of the Creation and in the Valaquenta the nature and powers of each of the gods is described. The Akallabêth recounts the downfall of the great island kingdom of Númenor at the end of the Second Age, and Of the Rings of Power tells of the great events at the end of the Third Age.

Return once more to a galaxy far, far away with this sublime retelling of George Lucas's epic Star Wars in the style of the immortal Bard of Avon. The saga of a wise (Jedi) knight and an evil (Sith) lord, of a beautiful princess held captive and a young hero coming of age, Star Wars abounds with all the valor and villainy of Shakespeare's greatest plays. 'Tis a tale told by fretful droids, full of faithful Wookiees and fearsome Stormtroopers, signifying...pretty much everything.

Story
On the planet Tython, the ancient Je’daii order was founded. And at the feet of its wise Masters, Lanoree Brock learned the mysteries and methods of the Force - and found her calling as one of its most powerful disciples. But as strongly as the Force flowed within Lanoree and her parents, it remained absent in her brother, who grew to despise and shun the Je’daii, and whose training in its ancient ways ended in tragedy. Now, from her solitary life as a Ranger keeping order across the galaxy, Lanoree has been summoned by the Je’daii Council on a matter of utmost urgency.

Story
The story begins in 1962. On a rocky patch of the sun-drenched Italian coastline, a young innkeeper, chest-deep in daydreams, looks out over the incandescent waters of the Ligurian Sea and spies an apparition: a tall, thin woman, a vision in white, approaching him on a boat. She is an actress, he soon learns, an American starlet, and she is dying. And the story begins again today, half a world away, when an elderly Italian man shows up on a movie studio's back lot - searching for the mysterious woman he last saw at his hotel decades earlier.

Story
This final play from the pen of Oscar Wilde is a stylish send-up of Victorian courtship and manners, complete with assumed names, mistaken lovers, and a lost handbag. Jack and Algernon are best friends, both wooing ladies who think their names are Ernest, "that name which inspires absolute confidence". Wilde's effervescent wit, scathing social satire, and high farce make this one of the most cherished plays in the English language.

Story
Natasha: I’m a girl who believes in science and facts. Not fate. Not destiny. Or dreams that will never come true. I’m definitely not the kind of girl who meets a cute boy on a crowded New York City street and falls in love with him. Not when my family is 12 hours away from being deported to Jamaica. Falling in love with him won’t be my story. Daniel: I’ve always been the good son, the good student, living up to my parents’ high expectations. Never the poet. Or the dreamer. But when I see her, I forget about all that.

The first thing I noticed about C.J. Gorman was his plexiglass bra. So begins Destination Unknown—it's 1987 in New York City, and Micah is at a dance club, trying to pretend he's more out and outgoing than he really is. C.J. isn't just out—he’s complete out there, and Micah can't help but be both attracted to and afraid of someone who travels so loudly and proudly through the night. A connection occurs. Is it friendship? Romance? Is C.J. the one with all the answers... or does Micah bring more to the relationship that it first seems?

Story
My new boss likes rules, but there's one nobody dares to break... No touching his banana. Seriously. The guy is like a potassium addict. Of course, I touched it. If you want to get technical, I actually put it in my mouth. I chewed it up, too....I even swallowed. I know. Bad, bad, girl. Then I saw him, and believe it or not, choking on a guy's banana does not make the best first impression. I should backtrack a little here. Before I ever touched a billionaire's banana, I got my first real assignment as a business reporter.

Alice is done with dating - no thank you, do not pass go, stick a fork in her, done. Story
Me and the legendary Zimmerman twins - it's a friendship made in geek heaven. And it all started back when I worked for the NSA... My best friend Basia dragged me to the beach for her idea of a vacation. All those annoying people, sand in embarrassing places - not exactly R & R for a girl who doesn't like the sun, the ocean, or bathing suits. I couldn't wait to get back to work. But things started looking up when I ran into Elvis and Xavier Zimmerman. We discovered we had a lot in common: gaming, anchovies, hacking.

Story
Oldest story in the book: boy meets girl, boy falls for girl, boy screws up massively, girl tells boy to suffocate in the fruits of his very own unborn children. Heard it before? I'm sure you have. So what's so different about this story? Well, it's about me, The Modern Gentleman, New York City's top advice columnist, and my rather ungraceful downfall from my pristinely polished pedestal. It's about a girl I met who threw all my proven theories to the wind and left me awkward, needy, and absolutely head-over-wing-tipped shoes in love.

From the author of the international best seller The Stone Man, short-listed for Audible UK's Book of the Year Award 2015. Here are the rules. Method: you can't use a gun. You can't use explosives. You can't use poison. It has to be up close and personal. You don't have to worry about leaving evidence; that will be taken care of. Victim: no one suicidal. No one over the age of 65. No one with a terminal illness. Choose your method. Choose your victim.

Worth it
Super fun and unique idea to make an audio musical. Fun plot and characters. Short enough to listen to in a few hours, so it's perfect for a short road trip.

A romance with a twist of rhyme
Would you listen to Is Anyone All Right? again? Why?
I would listen to 'Is Anyone All Right' again just for the songs and the accents. Do you like Richard Rogers? Then you will like this. The songs stay with you after the credits.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Is Anyone All Right??
The 'Aha' moment when I began to wonder just who was falling for whom.
What does Michael Langsner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Michael does a nice job making the story flow from song to dialog and back.
If you could take any character from Is Anyone All Right? out to dinner, who would it be and why?
I want to take Ben out to dinner and give him a good talking-to.
Any additional comments?
Mr. Snyder has perfectly captured the romantic feel of some of the classic musicals by combining lush, melodic arrangements with clever lyrics. The songs reveal some of the thoughts and feelings that nicely round out the characters and bring the story to life.

Audio musical? What's that?
"Is Anyone All Right?" is truly a unique experience. Part stage play, part audio book and with heaping helpings of the humor, natural dialogue and compelling characters Tom Snyder's works are known for, this is a must-listen for anyone who likes to laugh, has questions about love, or just isn't sure of the answer to the question: "Am I OK?"

A light hearted romantic musical that sure to tickle your funny bone and put a smile on your face.
Funny, entertaining, endearing, and the perfect ending. A light hearted romance for, well, anyone.
The music was especially good. It gave the listener a nice little reprieve to just sit back, relax and and enjoy the song without concentrating on the storyline for fear of missing something important. The timing was perfect. I could see this or others by Thomas F. F. Snyder as a series or podcast.

A touching reflection on love and obsession
I really enjoyed all the characters - very believable and sympathetic - and the story was romantic and absorbing. The songs were a plus, and an ingenious use of audiobook format!

Wonderful Ending!
If you could sum up Is Anyone All Right? in three words, what would they be?
Lovely character story
Who was your favorite character and why?
Probably Ben, because he was the most relatable out of them for me.
Which character – as performed by Michael Langsner – was your favorite?
He narrated them all mostly the same, as good for all. cannot say
If you could take any character from Is Anyone All Right? out to dinner, who would it be and why?
I'd say Emily. She seemed sweet.
Any additional comments?
Required a bit of focus at times to keep up with the narrative, but it was enjoyable. A few interactions were especially interesting. The ending was fairly predictable, but enjoyable nonetheless, and the music was performed very well.
