About this listen

New York Times best-selling author Joel C. Rosenberg looks at the events developing in the Middle East and asks the tough questions: Could Israel launch a preemptive strike at any moment? How might an Israel-Iran war set the Middle East on fire? What should we be watching for? Israel at War will help you understand what is happening right now behind the scenes in this volatile region—and how this high-stakes showdown could affect the future of the Middle East and the world.

A complete and informative account of Israel’s present political situation.

“Israel at War” is an incredibly complete account of the events occurring in Israel in these past decades. It details how the path to war could be slowly evolving and it describes the events Biblically described by the prophets in these times. The book describes the real threat to Israel and the world currently and how Israel has responded and must respond. Added to this, are the interpretations of present and future times coming from the Bible itself. The book reveals more than just a political description of the main characters involved, it dives a little into their belief system and mission. Finally, it calls those of us who love Israel to action, as human beings and Christians, not just prayer, but preparation for whatever may happen. Highly recommended!

It's a Report

This should be labeled a dissertation. It would s not a novel. I paid way too much for a dissertation. I am a huge fan but this should have been labeled.

Junk: hagiography, eschatology, & self-promotion.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

This is not, as the title claims, a discussion of Israel at War. It is a hagiography of Bibi Netanyahu and a Fox News-worthy hit job on Barack Obama. It is, further, a recital of the author's eschatology and a shameless plug for his other books and a non-profit he runs.

Would you ever listen to anything by Joel C. Rosenberg again?

No. Never. Nothing.

What does Adam Verner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The reader was very good, especially given the ridiculous nature of the writing. I didn't hear a single eye-roll.

You can do better than sound like a yid who is self hating

I have bought and listened to more than a couple of your books. It throws me off when a Jew can’t pronounce names and words of the Torah.
