Best-selling author of Flipside (number one in its genre at Amazon twice!)
It's a Wonderful Afterlife: Further Adventures into the Flipside takes a quantum leap forward into the afterlife, includes interviews with scientists discussing the source of consciousness, compares near death experiences (NDE) with between life sessions (LBL), and includes interviews with people who claim to be speaking from the afterlife. There are new between life sessions with astounding claims of contact with the afterlife, with experiencing God and understanding life's journey.
Volume One includes a Foreword by Charles Grodin, interviews with scientists dealing with consciousness outside the brain; Mario Beauregard Neuroscientist (Brain Wars) Dr. Bruce Greyson, the father of NDE research, the research of Dr. Helen Wambach along with that of Dr. Michael Newton (Journey of Souls). It includes interviews with near death experiencers David Bennett (Voyage of Purpose), Jeremy Kagan, Dr. Rajiv Parti, and Jeffry Martini. Book interviews Newton trained hypnotherapist Scott De Tamble, compares accounts of Dr. Eben Alexander (Proof of Heaven) and Colton Burpo (Heaven is for Real.)
Volume Two includes a foreword by Galen Stoller, an interview with Gary Schwartz, PhD, an attorney whose clients claim that they've been visited by some of their victims, interview with Pete Smith head of the Newton Institute, interview with Chaplain Savarna Wiley, and further accounts of NDEs and LBLs. Finally there's some "conversations with people in the Afterlife" and wraps up with another of the author's own LBLs.

Where does It's A Wonderful Afterlife Volume One rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This book is a unique volume in my library and its incredible subject "Life Between Life" (LBL) readings and related elements is a fantastically interesting arena of study. Based on readings from subjects being regressed under hypnosis to transcend their mind / brain limits to access past lives and the energetic experiences and learning between lives (LBL)It's A Wonderful Afterlife brings a lot to the table continuing with the work of Michael Newton and bringing it to life with various colorful examples of lessons learned from between life encounters with guides and teachers and soul groups.
What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?
The amazing and colorful variety of wisdom gathered from those subjects who were brought back to their encounters with their "extened" self...and the lessons they learn from each lifetimeWhat does Richard Martini bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Spontaneous irreverence and on the fly narration a lovely blend of informal and intimate. If you could give It's A Wonderful Afterlife Volume One a new subtitle, what would it be?
Learning Between Lifes and the power of the Soul JourneyAny additional comments?
I love this book It's A Wonderful Afterlife ....This book and -"Flipside"- Richard Martini's other audiobook on Audible are colorful and dynamic contributions based on Richard's video recorded sessions with top hypnotists trained at the Newton Center in Life Between life regression...The subject itself is incredfibly thought provoking .... I highly recommend Richard Martini's audiobooks and films as they have a unique blend of brilliant insight and artistic liberty. They are 5 stars.Insightful treatment of a dynamic subject

I have read all the books he talks about here and find this topic very interesting. The narration was not professional, but I like to listen to books read by the author. He speaks really fast so I slowed it down to .5 speed and it was much better to listen to and easy to follow.Very Interesting

Okay, it's so casual that if he flubs a sentence, he just stops and re-reads it. No professional editing here. But, that's okay. It's not like I've got a lot of people in my life I can talk to about these things, so I just imagine that I'm actually having someone talk to me about past lives, life between lives, consciousness that continues, the evolution that appears to be going on from life to life, the groups, and what experts have to share.
There's a broad range of topics covered here, and because many of the stories related are peoples own personal past life hypnotic regressions, or interactions, much was new and thus interesting.
I like these books, but do wish the photos were in a pdf, they sound interesting.
A casual, friendly, conversational Afterlife book

What did you love best about It's A Wonderful Afterlife Volume One?
Have read both Volume One and Two and thoroughly enjoyed each one. The topics of LBLs and our basic purpose in being here in human form, have always intrigued me and he covers them well. What was one of the most memorable moments of It's A Wonderful Afterlife Volume One?
There were too many to list. What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?
That we are the sole navigators of our journey and can learn at our own pace.Any additional comments?
I am keeping this review very brief because almost everything that I would post has already been covered by other reviewers (the positive reviews). His casual presentation did not bother me as it did some others. I listen to my audible books while walking the dog so it's rather relaxing to just hear a normal conversation that's not so formal.Entertaining and Informative

What did you like best about It's A Wonderful Afterlife Volume One? What did you like least?
I really wanted to enjoy this book. Indeed, I am interested in all "out of body" experiences and have been for many decades. By the description, this book checked all the boxes and I looked forward to listening to it.Alas, the narration was a total turn-off! Mr Martini speaks so rapidly and with such a staccato delivery, I simply could not bear it. Perhaps this is due to the fact I live in a rural community and have learned to slooooooww down....! Used to be a city girl but after many years in a more relaxed and laid-back environment, I have learned to appreciate the language and certainly my own speech, by necessity, has slowed down. This may not be a problem for more urban listeners who still go at such a rapid pace, but for me, it was so distracting I was not able to listen to the end. Maybe I'll get the book.....don't know yet.
Would have enjoyed it more had there been a trained narrator who could read the book at a better cadence.
The narration was a turn-off

As far as content, it is standard after life and LBL fare, with some good stories and amazing real life experiences. It is average reading in this genre but there are better authors/researchers to put higher on your list. Richard quotes most of them.
Poor Delivery
