Publisher's summary

Let me be the first person to welcome you to Normal, Kentucky, located in the heart of the Daniel Boone National Forest. I'm Mae West, the owner of Happy Trails Campground.

Fall at the campground is my favorite time of the year. The bursts of orange, yellow, green, and red pop on the falling leaves, creating a colorful path along the trails for all of my guests at my campground is a real life picture that could never be captured by a camera.

Days are warm and at night you need a light sweater to enjoy the campfire or snuggle up in a cozy blanket.

The campground is full and the campers are excited to participate in Normal's annual Pumpkin Carving Contest.

It's a little spooky seeing the hundreds of jack-o-lantern faces all light up with toothless or toothy smiles.

It's the dead body or two among them that chills me to the bone. Especially when one of those bodies is found in a cave and someone I love is a suspect.

And when Hanks asks me for input on the case, I know it's important. The Laundry Club Ladies and I are once again putting our sleuthing skills to good use in hopes that the tricks aren't on us!

Is there treats or just all tricks

So while the laundry ladies enjoy Halloween treats you know they have a few tricks up their sleeves trying to help Hank's sister get her act together. Along with another road trip for them, but no worries Dottie will keep everyone safe and on track.

Good Justice

This was book 22 in the "Camper & Criminals" series. Mae West has got her hands full. Hank has returned only he is hiding he is wanted for questioning his sister Ellis is wanted for murdering her boyfriend Walter who was married he told her he wasn't leaving his third wife. Hank asks Mae for help in clearing his sisters name Ellis didn't like Mae she thinks that she is not good enough for her brother. Mae agrees to help but she doesn't like Ellis hiding from the police. The campground is full, and the campers are excited to participate in Normal's annual Pumpkin Carving Contest. Mae and The Laundry Club Ladies begin investigating the murders. This was a good read we learn what Hank's childhood was like and how he doesn't like his parents for leaving him and paying more attention to Ellis. I have to admit that I didn't like Ellis she was a spoiled brat who was used to getting her way. Mae is not sure if Hank came back because he missed her or to help his sister. I love reding this series and about all the secondary characters in it.

Another good one

These books get better each time and this was no exception. Hopefully we will get to see where Hank and Mae go in future books. The laundry club ladies are as funny and intriguing as usual. So many story lines up in the air should make for some exciting future books.

Great cozy mystery with wonderful characters!

I love the Camper & Criminals series by Tonya Kappes! There is family, friendship, a little romance and a lot of humor! Mae West owns Happy Trails Campground and it is almost Halloween. Her best friends are the ladies in The Laundry Club. She is dating Hank Sharp again. Hank is now working as a Private Investigator and he needs Mae's help. Hank has a new camper and a beard. A man is looking for Hank. What is up with that? We learn a little bit more about Hank's sister Ellis. A man ends up dead and the ladies take a little Road Trip. The funniest part of this book is their Halloween costumes! Tonya sure knows how to make us laugh and keeps us guessing at who the culprit is! I can't read these books fast enough and the audio books are fabulous! #Camler&Criminals #JacketsJack-O-Lantern&Justice

Cute, fun read

This is a fun continuation of her series. All the usual characters are there with small updates of their lives. We meet a few new characters and of course there is a murder to solve with a little of romance sprinkled on top. I've been reading some psychological thrillers and this was the perfect palate cleanser to enjoy.
