About this listen

  • Universidad y carrera profesional
  • Relación con John F. Kennedy

A wonderful book about J. Kennedy.

I have also watched the movie, The Butler (Lee Daniel). As after the death of her husband led me to want to know more about the tragedies she had gone through as a first lady and a mother. This book showed me everything.

Great Read.

I thought this book was very well put together. It talked about Jacqueline's life surrounding her time in the white house and her family. A very good read.

A first lady and a best mother.

Jackie Onassis was a strong woman, and I have even more admiration for her after reading this excellent biography that I couldn't put down until I reached its last page. You would love to listen to it in Spanish.

Elightly mediocre.

Although having this book written in the first person is a novel idea, there is no evidence to support that this was
Jackie's perception of her world. Most of the material presented was a rehash of many other books and a few
of facts, such as the Kennedy birth order, were flagrantly inaccurate.

Lif's insight into the life of Jackie.

This book taught me a few things I had never known about such as the fact Jackie went through PTSD after the death of her husband and developed obsessive remembering, guilt, helplessness, angry outbursts; suicidal threats and fears of being the next target.
