Myths and Legends 2

This had 3 volumes in one. I wanted to listen to something at work to make the day pass, and this was it. From the introduction to the narration, each story was very easy to listen to. I could see the scenery in my mind as I listened to it. This is a definite must have on road trips too.

3-in-1!

This book provides great value considering it is really a 3 book compilation. The Kwaidan contains a bunch of Japanese ghost stories. This was refreshing and a side of Japanese culture that I haven’t ever heard about. The other two books in this omnibus felt a little more familiar because I have some knowledge of Japanese mythology. They were still entertaining and informative. I also appreciate the historical context sections. The narration was very well done.
