Publisher's summary

The true measure of a man is not in the mistakes he makes...but in how he handles those mistakes.

A rescuer at heart, paramedic Jaxon Chapman enjoyed kicking back when off the job, and that included the ladies. But as his friends began to find meaningful relationships, he wondered if his world was missing something.

An Olympic hopeful, Morgan McAlister had control of her water destiny, and that included standing on the platform at the next Olympics. Meeting the charismatic Jaxon had her wondering if there was room for him in her life. But one moment in time, changed her world forever.

Finding her place in a new world, Morgan is ready to move forward with Jaxon, but a secret he has kept may tear them apart.

From the shattering of broken dreams, can two people from opposite worlds find happiness?

Loosely based on The Little Mermaid.

Scenes and language in this audiobook are similar to what you would find in an R-rated movie. For 18+ years only.

Another Beautiful Story in this Amazing Series!

Jaxon Chapman is a paramedic and an all round good guy. He meets Morgan one night in a bar and they instantly connect.
Morgan McAlister is an Olympic hopeful however her dream of going to the Olympics is shattered when she is in an accident. Morgan’s father is also her coach and has a tough time dealing with her injury. Sometimes parents try to make their dreams come true through their children and this story was a good example of that. This story was emotional and heartbreaking as well as romantic and heartwarming. My heart went out to Morgan with all she had to deal with, both with her father and with her injury. I thought the author did an exceptional job of tying the story up and the whole issue with Morgan’s father and also her injury. I also love the fact that the author always provides us with a wonderful epilogue and gives us a peek into the future of the couple involved. This was another beautiful story in this amazing series and I look forward to the next one. Of course Kale Williams does an exemplary job with the narration, as usual. It is always a pleasure to listen to him bring the characters to life.
