About this listen

Thrust into a world of danger and fear, first grade teacher Emily is forced to comply with a terrifying MC president's demands in order to save her brother's life. Her only port in the storm is Jester, a member of a rival MC she's supposed to use and betray. Jester proves to be the opposite of everything Emily expects, and before long she's in his bed, and he's in her heart.

Jester would give life and limb for the No Prisoners Motorcycle Club. His sole focus needs to be on the impending attack against their enemies, the Grimm Brothers. Meeting sweet and innocent Emily wasn't part of his plan, and falling for her is out of the question.

Can Emily save her brother's life without destroying the man who opens her eyes and heart to an amazing world of pleasure? She'll do anything in her power to help her brother while protecting Jester, but when Jester finds out she was sent by his enemy, she may lose everything she's trying to preserve.

It’ll leave you wanting to read the entire series

Any additional comments?

I have always wanted to give audiobooks a try and after reading the synopsis, I decided that Jester would be the book to pop my audiobook cherry. The voice actors did take a bit of time to get used but I thought they did a great job. They kept the story interesting and really kept my interest throughout the whole book. The quality of the audiobook was perfect and I had no problems with it at all. This book’s word choice can get a little raunchy. I didn’t realize hearing words like “cock” and “pussy” would make me giggle and blush. Although I enjoyed the audiobook version of this, I felt maybe if I was reading it, it would have been a better experience for me because apparently I’m too immature to hear certain words. All kidding aside, the story itself was well put together and thought out. You get to know not just the two main characters, but you also get to know other characters that have been a part of the series thus far. This book can be read as a stand alone even though it is the second part of the No Prisoners MC series. There’s plenty of dirty talk, steamy sex scenes with just the right amount of suspense and action going on. I’m telling you, it’ll leave you wanting to read the entire series in one go!

Alpha Jester

Emily finds herself between a rock and hard place. One MC threatens her brother, another her heart. Jester is exactly what she needs and gives her all. I adore the members of Take No Prisoners MC and cant wait to see where they and this series takes me.

Another winner from this series

I'm really enjoying this series by Lilly Atlas. It has great characters and is full of lots of action and sexual tension.

Jester and Emily are attracted to each other from the moment they meet. I enjoyed their meeting and how they got together. I really enjoyed Jester's protectiveness of Emily throughout the book and felt Emily's despair at her seemingly impossible situation. I was anxiously anticipating the moment Jester would find out what Emily had been hiding from him and, boy, did Lilly Atlas not disappoint! The high stakes, the emotional fallout , the action --- the build-up to that moment was certainly delivered upon in the final chapters of the book.

Betrayal, Love and Jester!

This is an excellent read/listen. I enjoyed the switch between narrators during dialogue. I say this often, that I am not a huge fan of the "silky/sultry" voice. Erin DeWard had that kind of feel, but I did like the way she portrayed Emily. Noah Michael Levine knows what he's doing. I could listen to him all day and not grow tired of his voice. I'm becoming quite a an of Lilly Atlas's writing. She gives such great depth to her stories and characters. So good.

Best one yet!!

I thought I'd be irritated with the storyline... but it was written in a way that made out totally believable that she wouldn't speak up for as long as she did. Loved it!!

A fast paced thrilling and exciting story!

Any additional comments?

Jester was a fast paced thrilling and exciting story that will keep you entertained for hours. It is about a strong woman, Emily, who would do anything for the people that she loves however; she never planned on her heart being placed on the line in the process. She has to make tough choices that leave will leave her vulnerable and open for hurt and heartache. Jester is the sexy newly voted in member of the No Prisoner’s Motorcycle Club who cannot keep the beautiful woman out of his mind that he sees at his celebration party.

This story has a great mixture of action and romance. It has incredible twist and turns with a unique and intriguing plot. There is a lot of action and suspense to grab your attention from beginning to end. The characters are strong and developed well while being entertaining. The book was well thought out and written to show you all kinds of emotions. You will laugh and cry right along with the characters. There is some intense and passionate sex scenes throughout.

Noah Michael Levine and Erin DeWard did a great job on the narration. They each brought their own unique and remarkably different voice to each character. I personally liked having the two different voices throughout the story.

This was the first book that I have read and listened to by Lilly Atlas. I was not disappointed at all. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I recommend Lilly Atlas to anyone that wants to read a motorcycle club romantic suspense that will keep you entertained from the beginning to the end.

Yummy! Can I Get A Jester?

I love a good MC book and this series has got my attention. This book is just the right amount of gritty, raw and hot sexiness with a tinge of sweetness. It has just enough darkness to it to make it interesting. Jester and his brothers, at least most of them have redeeming qualities that make you want to root for them oh and get in their pants. Tell me, who doesn't like a hot biker dude with a dirty mouth ...

Good narrators kept me interested and listening to the end. I was either squirming in my seat or sitting on the edge of my seat.

Definitely worth the credit. Can't wait for the next book in the series -- Acer seems like an intriguing fellow.
