About this listen

I couldn't walk away.

It's not who I am. The moment I saw Rayne broken and bloodied, I knew I wasn't leaving without her.

As the president of the Houston Defiance MC, my job is to protect. And there's no taming the rage building inside my body, screaming at me to shield her from the husband who's beating her day in and day out.

Taking her was never in my plans, but plans change. I don't care if she's married. Or that her husband's a cop.

Our connection is explosive, it's dangerous, it's intoxicating. And I'm fast being swept up in her storm. It's something I can't ignore.

I thought the enemy was clear, and I was ready to fight. But maybe there's a threat we didn't see coming? Maybe there's someone closer to us than we ever could have imagined. Someone who could be the destruction of us both.

Contains mature themes.

the voice of was slow and a little boring but the overall story was okay.

it was well written I just didn't care for the narrator to much he spoke very slow and drawn out it made some of the fight and sex scenes a little cringy

Two broken people healing each other.

I was reminded of the old romance novels. It was a very feel good book, and to never give up. Cherry bomb was the one who saw the most vioence yet she was the smartest, bravest and wounded of all yet she became the strongest. The male voice was velvet.

Zero & Rayne

Very enjoyable, explosive, plenty of action, drama, domestic abuse, unexpected twist, and no cheating or angst. Strong brotherhood bonds.
Zero is the president of the MC after the murder of his parents.
Rayne is married to a dirty cop, abused, and can’t escape him.
Zero’s sister becomes good friends with Rayne and helps her to escape.
The narrators did a great job.

Interesting

I’ve listened to many MC books. This one starts off slow. It gets better. The end is amazing tho. I’m definitely going on to the next book.

Solid story, good hero

Solid story, good hero not a dumb woman which is not always the case. I like both narrators I got used to Tor Thom a couple years ago way better the cringe worthy virtual voice gag

Female Narrator very dussapointin

This was a good story. Would have been even better with a different female Narrator. She ruined it. Sounded more like a grandmother than a young woman
