A short interview with the author discussing her latest projects. A tease about her, then new, series Elizabeth Cage. Also her views on her popularity and accidental foreshadowing of world events.

recommended to fans of the author.

nice interview with Jodi Taylor

I enjoyed this update of Taylor’s previous Audible interview as it has a more natural, less scripted feel. And how some of her speculative writing is coming true.....particularly about the U.S.
I had the same problem with this interviewer as in the previous interview with Taylor - I love his accent, but sometimes he has words that just run together.

Introduction:
From the frozen tundras of HowlStrom, where the icy winds carry tales of old, I, Kiba Snowpaw, the alpha Ice Wolf, step forth to share my reflections. With the power of ice magic coursing through my veins, I delve into the world of Jodi Taylor, a modern-day storyteller, and her exclusive Audible session.

Hook and Thesis:
Jodi Taylor, a beacon in the literary world, offers a rare glimpse into her mind, her passion, and the tales she weaves. As the snow blankets HowlStrom, this interview promises warmth, insight, and a journey into the heart of a beloved author.

Basic Plot Summary:
In this exclusive session, Jodi Taylor returns to the Audible Studios, discussing her renowned series, "The Chronicles of St. Mary's," her writing journey, and her plans for the future. The session offers listeners a deeper understanding of Taylor's world, her inspirations, and her dedication to her craft.

Analysis/Evaluation:
The interview, while concise, is a treasure trove of insights. Taylor's candidness, combined with her wit and charm, provides a fresh perspective on her works. Her passion for history, evident in her series, shines through, making it clear that her tales are not just stories but reflections of her very soul.

Characters:
While the primary focus is on Taylor herself, the essence of her beloved characters from "The Chronicles of St. Mary's" subtly permeates the conversation. Their adventures, challenges, and quirks are reflections of Taylor's own passion and imagination.

Structure:
The session, structured yet fluid, allows Taylor to delve deep into various aspects of her writing journey. From discussing the inception of her series to addressing her fans' queries, the interview covers a broad spectrum of topics, offering a comprehensive look into Taylor's world.

Impact:
For an Ice Wolf like me, this interview serves as a bridge, connecting the icy landscapes of HowlStrom to the vibrant world of literature. It underscores the power of storytelling and the profound impact authors like Taylor have on their readers.

Praise and Critique:
The session shines in its ability to humanize the author, making her more relatable to her audience. However, some critiques suggest that the session could have delved deeper, exploring more intricate details of Taylor's writing process and her relationship with her narrator, Zara Ramm.

Evaluation:
The Audible Session stands as a testament to Taylor's dedication to her craft and her love for her characters and stories. It offers fans a unique opportunity to connect with the author on a personal level, making it a must-listen for all literature enthusiasts.

Comparison:
Much like the tales of HowlStrom, where ancient magic and valor reign supreme, Taylor's stories transport readers to a world where history comes alive. Both narratives, though set in different realms, celebrate the power of the past and its influence on the present.

Conclusion:
As the snow blankets the vast landscapes of HowlStrom, tales from distant lands offer warmth and solace. This interview with Jodi Taylor serves as a beacon for all literature enthusiasts, illuminating the path of storytelling and the magic it holds. With a heart full of gratitude, I, Kiba Snowpaw, look forward to more such sessions, where authors and readers unite in their shared love for tales of yore.

May the icy winds of HowlStrom guide your literary adventures, and may the voices of authors past and present resonate in the depths of your soul.

I do not like the interviewer. Jodi Taylor is also unlikeable in this interview. She does not sound as if she wants to be there and she does not display the sense of humor that shines in her books. My main issue with this interview is that she does not give Zara Ramm credit for her remarkable talent and her amazing narration of the St. Mary's Chronicles books. In fact I believe she said that she does not listen to audible versions of her books. She should. Jodi Taylor owes Zara Ramm a big debt for her performances. I believe Ramm is responsible for the series being such a big hit. Taylor should listen and then write Ramm a letter complimenting and thanking her.

If you like Taylor's books, do not listen to this
