About this listen

Born in 1795, tragically dead of consumption by age 26, John Keats was one of the greatest English Romantic poets. During his brief life, he composed many poems and odes that are considered among the finest and most passionate ever written. Lush, sensuous, rhythmic, and surprising, they captivate the senses and fascinate the mind.©1996 HighBridge Company (P)1995 Hodder Headline Audiobooks European Poetry

The Best recording of John Keats

By far John Keats is my favorite poet. There are so many great poems in this one recording that it is difficult to pick a favorite. Why choose? It’s hard to believe such passionate genius created all these beautiful works before he died of tuberculosis at age 26. What more lasting wonders would he have created, if he had lived much longer. This recording of his poems is my favorite and read by a true devotee of Keats. Listen and experience the miracles of God as the Divine Spirit works through all individuals of genius to bring Glory to His Works. Gloria in Exselsis Deo. Enjoy, fellow wayfarer in your journey, to find your Creator and offer Him All Praise!

No Table of Contents

This is a book of poems, but you'll note that on this page there is no list of which poems are included. I bought it anyway; it was on sale and inexpensive. Looking. at the book in the Audible app, I am pretty shocked to find that there's no TOC in the book there, either, just "Chaper 1" and "Chapter 2." If I want to read Endymion, say, I don't even know if it's in this book, and if it is, how to get to it. Very disappointed.
