Story
Cometh the hour, cometh the fall in time, the whole world will be a graveyard, a charnel pit for billions. In time, a tiny few will be all that remains, fighting back against the terrible, rotting 'greys' until none are left. In time, the Dark Judges will rule unquestioned over an empty world. But before the end of Deadworld must come the fall.

United States of America, AD 2041. Eustace Fargo's new justice system has been in effect for eight years. The old days of waiting times and backlogs are over: judgement is quick, and sentencing is instantaneous. The old police academies have all shut down, and the new order is triumphant. But are things any better? Unrest is worse than ever. Criminals are more likely to kill rather than be caught. There's a war coming for the streets.

Story
In the 20th century Earth sent probes, transmissions, and welcoming messages to the stars. Unfortunately, someone noticed. The Galactics arrived with their battle fleet in 2052. Rather than being exterminated under a barrage of hell-burners, Earth joined their vast Empire. Swearing allegiance to our distant alien overlords wasn't the only requirement for survival. We also had to have something of value to trade, something that neighboring planets would pay their hard-earned credits to buy. As most of the local worlds were too civilized to have a proper army, the only valuable service Earth could provide came in the form of soldiers....

In Mega-City One a brutal murder is discovered, seemingly of unnatural origin. Around the globe there is a massive surge in psychic phenomena as people fall prey to visions and religious mania. It seems that the world is on the brink of a psychic apocalypse and Psi-Judge Anderson must travel into the heart of Tibet to find the source of the disturbance! This collection bring together the very best of Alan Grant's (Lobo) and Arthur Ranson's (Button Man) work on this iconic comics character.

Story
Marsalis is one of a new breed...literally. Genetically engineered by the U.S. government to embody the naked aggression and primal survival skills that centuries of civilization have erased from humankind, Thirteens were intended to be the ultimate military fighting force. The project was scuttled, however, when a fearful public branded the supersoldiers dangerous mutants, dooming the Thirteens to forced exile on Earth's distant, desolate Mars colony. But Marsalis found a way to slip back.

Better than most
I am just getting into Judge Dredd lore, and this collection was highly recommended. I have to saw that it was definitely worth it. The short stories are so good that it makes the collection seem twice as long as it really is. The Narrator had a fantastic Dredd voice, and was no slouch on the other voices as well.

Fantastic stories
I personally enjoyed the varied stories from different perspectives. Narrator does a great job giving different voices for different characters.. Felt like i was listening to a TV series since every story is contained..Some have humor, sadness and comedy..As always Judge Dredd has no mercy on crime.
