About this listen

A captivating paranormal romance from NYT and USA Today bestselling author Kym Grosso. Experience the mysterious world of the Immortals of New Orleans.

Born into royalty, Alpha Julian Fortes has been to hell and back. A lone wolf, he's fought the ancient curse that's plagued his family for centuries. When he saves a mysterious woman, his wolf will no longer be denied his mate or his pack.

Cassia Luna has learned to cloak her presence from the hellhounds and stay one step ahead of the evil that pursues her. Psychic abilities keep her alive, allowing her to sense the predators before they strike. As Cassia is forced to trust the charismatic Alpha, she resists her desire to submit and reveal her true nature.

The Prince of Wolves must confront destructive evil forces that lurk in the shadows. But will the Alpha destroy his enemies before they kill him? And after living a lifetime alone, will he succumb to the visceral need to claim Cassia, acknowledging the soul binding connection between an Alpha and his mate?

Contains mature themes.

All of it.

Thank You Kym,
I have been able to read all of Kym's books. Listen as Kai and Ryan as they read it; allowing me to close my eyes and picture how it would be seen if a film.

As Kym does her writing just drows you in and can not up it down. When you take the time to read Kade all the wat to Julian's great so you know the story of how everyone works together.
The best thing about Julian is that she has taken the next level and gave Julian not only a mate, but also a pack that he needed and did not know it.
can not wait for the next one, and from what I read: I hope it has to do with one particular half bread. (wolf/vampire).......

I recommend this and every one of her books, it is they best way to send your free time.....maybe even share with your better half, even get to try a few things with them.

Enjoy and have fun.

Dreadful

Immortals of New Orleans was initially a great series and I have listened to them multiple times. However, this is the last book I will buy from Ms. Grosso and anything else narrated by Ms. Kennicott. Julian seems to be a rote compilation of snippets from previous books. The storyline seems to follow a trope checklist and many of the scenes are interchangeable with previous scenarios and other characters in the collection. Ms. Kennicott's narration style is so distracting it makes listening to her chapters sheer torture. She alternates between whispering and shouting to, I can only guess, reflect changes in emotions and characters and I found it difficult to listen to her without a break. Why she inexplicably chose to give Dominique a British accent, very poorly executed, is beyond me. The only positive is Mr. West. His voices for specific characters make them easily identifiable and his accents are impeccable. I wish there was an option for reviewing multiple narrators because he is, as always, 5 stars.
