About this listen

The world has fallen, but life goes on…

Matthew Kade was a corporate assassin—one of the best agents Obsidian Corporation had. But then the bombs began falling, and the old world ended. Now he must navigate the new world he finds himself in: a world where the strongest survive, and the weaker do their bidding…or die.

Agents were imprinted with the skills they needed for their current mission, but when the world fell, the entire identity database got dumped into Kade's head. With thousands of personalities running around in his noggin, one thing is sure: no matter whether Kade is battling Teledyne Specialists in the streets, Geno Freaks in the sewers, or Zone Warlords in their Scrapers, he’s got an imprint for that.

Enter the Fallen World as seen through the eyes of Kade as he completes five different missions, and then get a special look at the birth of the Kade imprint.

When bodies began falling from Scrapers, you know Kade is nearby.

The Fallen World series is now performed by Christopher Ryan Grant, narrator of the bestselling sci-fi series Strange Company.

More Kade!!

Really enjoyed learning how Kades story began! Yes, the first 2 book/stories were already in previous compilations of short stories but just when I thought it was over along came the beginning!

I have listened to every book in the Fallen World Series and I have loved them all!
I’m excited to see the several books are waiting to be released on audio and will purchase the minute they are available.

Same as book one

This book is mostly the same as book one, it’s like paying for the same book twice. The voice acting in book one was better. The end of this version does add to the story.

Same story until last part (edited)

I love the series but more than half the book we already heard. I was hoping The farmers jimmy prat etc would meet Kade and do some missions together. my favorite characters. anyways the ending wasn't as good as hoped. we know kade was in torment for quite sometime until all the voices picked kade to lead...the ending was different in this book yet shortened. I don't know, just needed more of Kade not repeats like the beginning. love the series though of Kade and the farmers. Kade really needs to meet Jimmy. would be a great ending them doing missions plus jimmy saved him in the beginning.

Heroes in this Fallen World

Matthew Kade is a true hero in any time, before or after the fall of humanity. I’m glad that I’m on his side!

Great if all you want is kade.

I understand a lot of people are upset it's a rerelease, but if you know what you're getting, it's a great way to have a better view of Kade overall and see things as a contiguous story instead of disjointed short stories.

Same stories need Mark Boyett

The book was good after having to listen to the old stories. My biggest gripe was that Mark Boyett did not narrate this book. He is who I associate this whole book series with and has done an amazing job on all the other books. It's like when they didn't use RC Bray for the main Galaxy's edge books for a while. It's just not as good.

Different voice but still awesome

Spoiler. Now I understand how Kade can have all those voices in his head and not going saying Insane. Because they was friends before they were in the body together Very good story telling.

My only question is if this Kade woke up in the US mint. Which Kade woke up in the Wilderman ?

Mix feeling

Story is great as usual however the beginning of the book is a copy and paste from book one. Not sure if I like that! I can see probably a “recap” but even that is a stretch. I felt like fast forwarding because I remember the story even after all the years… no I don’t like that. But after the copy and paste the book is great again.
