Perfect story for the season

Sometimes it just doesn’t pay to be a good and wholesome person saving yourself for after marriage. Halloween is approaching and the town satanists have been tasked with killing virgins (yes they can see who is a virgin and who isn’t). This crazy and wild romp is a great quick under 5 hour listen. It is well written with enough humor and horror to satisfy fans of the genre. The narrator is the gem On this one though. Sean delivers a great set of characters and embodies the tone set by the author. A real great duo here. Halloween Massacre

Satan worshippers are on the warpath to kill all virgins in town on Halloween. Enjoyed the characters of Caitlin and Seth but Sindie and Micah are insane and book contains a lot of violence, gory and sex. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you

Great Short Cult Slasher

This definitely feels like a throw back to 80s satanic cult movies and slasher films. The plot line is fairly basic and revolves around one interspaced plot with some independent pieces that tie everything together. Because of this you meet some characters for a very brief time while the main storyline continues to provide the same crew.

I felt like this was a plot driven story versus a character driven story and found it lacking in both. Not a bad thing, for such a short story that worked out just fine and I was able to sit back and just enjoy the carnage. As for carnage, there is a lot. Didn’t find it overly graphic but there is a lot of detailed gore as well as your required satanic orgies. It really reminded me of the old late night movies you would watch hosted by a B grade actor. They even pay tribute to this fact throughout the story. Something that I really enjoyed hearing about, especially as Halloween is right around the corner and I have been in nonstop Halloween mode.

I wasn’t especially connected to any of the characters except for Seth. He was the only one that I actually was cheering for hoping that he would come out of everything safe. The rest of the characters, save a few, weren’t around long enough to really peak my interest. I did enjoy Cindy Midnight in that she was a great antagonist for the story and was as sexy and evil as you would want from a satanic cult killer.

Sean Duregger did a great job with the narration. I loved his character's voices, the cadence he used, and the overall energy he put into the narration. I think he brought the tension to the story where it was needed and made this a delight to listen to.

great novella

this is a great novella. this is the kind of horror I have always longed for but have had a hard time finding till now. Bryan Smith is king of the extreme horror empire in my opinion. I wish the killing kind would be made into a movie. I would love to see that one brought to life.

Gory

I was provided this review audio book in exchange for an honest review.

Narration was well done. Pleasant to listen to and emotions were on point.

Story was very gory and a lot of sex. I found the plot was not very strong with this one though and mostly centered around the gore and sex. There was some mildly suspenseful elements. It was entertaining.

Like reading a grindhouse movie!

This book knows exactly what it is, and goes for it with glee! Ultra violent, sex filled, satanic exploitation, and I loved every second!

The narrator does an amazing job at capturing, not only the darker aspects of the story, but also makes sure that you realize just how absurdly funny the entire thing is!

Highly recommend!

Fun trash

Total fun trash. If you like 70s exploitation trash about evil cultist massacring all the virgins in town, you’ll like this!

Wonderfully Gory

When a group of Satan worshippers are ordered by Satan himself to kill as many pure souls as they can, havoc descends on an unsuspecting town.

Plenty of blood and gore with each kill having a unique touch. It was interesting to see who exactly made it all the way through to the end. I was both pleased and surprised to see there were characters who didn’t. This is a great book to listen to if you’re having one of those days where you want to shut the world out. I binged it in one sitting.

Narrator had an even pace and good pronunciation that went well with the story. It was easy to tell shifts in characters.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Sean Duregger and Bryan Smith Match made in Heaven

Sean Duregger hits it out of the park with this performance. Sean truly is a fan of audiobooks. He gets better and better with each title he releases. If you're a fan of Bryan Smith then you already know what you're in store for. With Kill for Satan! Bryan takes us straight into the action. This is a perfect Halloween read. For one day Satan's followers can see who the town Virgins are and must kill them for Satan. This is a balls to wall wild fun ride through town. Each character we meet is that much funnier then the last. Plenty of action and gore and some pretty funny moments as well. Bryan definatly is a fan of horror movies as there are plenty of references through out the novella. Quick listen and definitely worth your credit or money. I can't recommend this title enough. Sean definitely brings this book to life.
