Well acted, poorly scripted

A lot of introduction leads the listener to breathe a sigh of relief when at last the story begins.

Chapter Ends Cut Short

I pre-listened to this story before assigning it to my son. The story and performance are fine, nothing spectacular. The speed of the recording is off, and several chapter endings were cut short. I hated to have him listen to it. This book is recommended reading in the curriculum we use. This recording is embarrassing to assign as homework. I couldn't find a different version of this story anywhere else. I'll be contacting the curriculum company to inform them of the terrible quality.
