About this listen

Grumpy/sunshine times three!

Joey is no stranger to romance. After all, his family wrote the book when it came to falling in love and finding their forever partners. There’s no doubt in his mind that his soul mate is out there as well. What he doesn’t expect is to be struck down with a serious case of instalove the second Lucy Storm steps off the front porch of her family’s farmhouse.

Escaping a difficult relationship, Miles is proud of the life he’s forged for himself. He’s got it all. A hit cable show, amazing friends, and Joey, the greatest cohost a guy could ask for. When Joey throws a curveball into their well-ordered existence, falling for Lucy, the most obnoxiously cheerful person he’s ever met, Miles knows he should be supportive. What he shouldn’t do is kiss the chatty woman to shut her up.

Lucy’s dreams are bigger than her family’s farm, but leaving home isn’t an easy proposition. When Joey invites her to hit the road, touring the country with him as he films his show, she jumps at the chance. However, travel isn’t what entices her most. Because for her, the greatest temptation is the charming Joey…and his infuriatingly grumpy, sexy best friend, Miles.

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧Captivating & Steamy!

I have been loving Mari Carr’s “Italian Stallions” series, each book is just as amazing as the next, and it is the characters that make this series so special, their stories, their connections and relationships. This eighth book of the series is Joey Moretti, Miles Williams and Lucy Storms’ story and it is another trifecta of a romance. All the Moretti’s have found their loves, and Joey was wondering when he was going to find his special someone, too. He and his friend and co-host of their “ManPower” show were on another road trip to Gracemont, Virginia to film an episode featuring the Rain or Shine Brewery on Stormy Weather Farms. Arriving at the farm, and as soon as he saw her, he knew she was the one for him and it turned out she was one of the brew masters they were there to meet, though they mistaken Lu as Lou and thought they were meeting a male. Miles was not being himself and was super grumpy, lost in thought and preoccupied, all because his ex-girlfriend, who did a number on his heart, was reaching out to him again. Meanwhile, Joey saw how Miles looked at Lucy and seeing that gave him a light-bulb moment, with throuples common in his family, is it possible his special someone is not one person but two? Would Miles even consider being a part of a throuple? It was great to learn their backstories, watching Lucy get to know both Joey and Miles, to see their relationship comes together naturally. It was also great learning their backstories too. The chemistry between Lucy and each of the guys was smoking hot, and I loved the bond between Miles and Joey, as well as the dynamics of their relationship. This multi-layered story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, witty dialogue and humor, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. As always, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. Mari Carr, thank you for another fantastic story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧  And for the trifecta of talent, Marina Barrett, Theo Sinclair and Oliver Highpoint were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life, doing so with a complete standing of who they were portraying. I loved how they took their roles and made it their own, sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their performance elevates the already fabulous story to another level.

Joey, Lucy & Miles

An entertaining story of three people finding their HEA with each other. One willing, one curious and one in complete denial. When Joey and Miles' took their show, ManPower, to a family brewery, he had no idea their brew master, Lucy, would change his life and Miles' life forever. Their journey becoming a throuple is easy for Joey and Lucy is coming around to the idea, but it will take some finessing to get Miles onboard. When Miles comes to terms that he also wants Lucy, he gives in to them becoming a throuple.

A great ending to the Italian Stallions series. It's fun, sexy and ends with the perfect HEA. Great narration.

4.5 Stars Overall

I have listened to all of the previous audiobooks in this series by Mari Carr. I've enjoyed all of them! I can't helping wanting the cable show/video blog the characters are a part of to be real! Especially the Kiss and Tell show. Once again, all the characters warmed my heart. But in this one, it was a bit different. I didn't feel like Joey and Miles were truly one. I know this is a MFM, my personal favorite, but it felt like they were competing to the end. Still, I didn't want to pause the book.

The narrators were excellent! They brought the characters to life with emotional performances. Love their voices!

Menage Romance

Kiss and Tell by Mari Carr is a menage romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Marina Barrett, Theo Sinclair, and Oliver Highpoint. This is the eighth book in the Italian Stallions series.

I loved the relationship that bloomed between Joey, Miles, and Lucy. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Theo, Marina, and Oliver did a great job on the narration. They really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a menage romance, workplace romance, or contemporary romance.
