James Patterson at his best!

Fabulous story if you like mystery, intrigue, and a little gore. Although I had read the book it was still a lot of fun to listen to on audible!

Great story!!

James Patterson is an absolutely amazing author!!
The sound quality was way too low. The chapter numbers seemed to be off.

The snake! Where's the snake?!

One killer was bad enough, now he has to deal with two at once, oy. Great story and narration. Great detail on everything. The snake scene, ugh.

The book was great... I wish they'd kept the same narrator but they were both great!

Good Book

I must agree with the previous reviews. Although the narrator was ok he was not the right guy for this book.
Alex Cross is an Interesting fellow and a good character to follow. anticipating the next book.

Book is great, narration was fine.

The book itself it so well written!
This narrator makes a small ‘whistle’ sound when he says certain words and for my ears it wasn’t pleasant. Thankfully, it wasn’t so often that it was intolerable.
Also, I’ll be honest, having a white male read the narration of an African American male character just wasn’t as good of fit. The narration of ‘Along Came a Spider’ with Taye Diggs was a much better fit for the book/character. I also wish that if a book series are going to be narrated, then keep the same narrator if possible or at least a close representation.

Awesome story that you don't want to put down

The story was awesome and had me on the edge of my seat. The reader does a great job with the accents of the characters but I had a different tone in my head for Alex himself. Still an excellent listen.
