About this listen

She would like nothing more than for him to make the move from British Columbia to Tennessee. But he has to decide if the chemistry they have will blossom into something that will last long enough for him to rationalize moving across the continent.

Will they allow distance to separate them or let their hearts speak louder than their circumstances as they kiss under the New Year’s Eve fireworks?

Cute story!

WHAT IT'S ABOUT

MY TAKE
This was a yummy short tale of finding out what's important to you and fighting your fears and insecurity. Amber's just graduated from college and still hasn't found a job. Hayden has come to Tennessee from Canada to see if he really wants to take over the family restaurant business.

He and Amber have insta-attraction. It worried me a little that their early connection was too much about physical attraction and not enough about what they really knew about each other. I appreciated it when Hayden suggested that maybe they should find out how much they suited each other when they weren't kissing. The epilogue shows that they give themselves time to discover each other and really fall in love.

The narrator, Meg Trast, did a great job with the voices.

rather corny

this story was cute but the characters seemed more like teenagers than 20+ year olds. it was clean and sweet just not my favorite.

A sweet young adult romance

The narrator did a good job. This was a sweet young adult contemporary romance.

Enjoyable

This was a quick listen. A sweet romance with fun characters. I live in TN, it was neat that this story takes place there.

The narrative was well done.

a little young for me

the story was cute enough, I just don't usually care to read stories about people so young. it would be well suited for high school listeners. the narrator didn't do much in changing her voice between the male and female characters but it still worked. there was some background production noise that was there, not horrible, but I noticed
