"Je suis passionnée par les mythes, car ce sont à mes yeux des histoires canons, dont les symboles continuent d'agir sur nous. Et dans nos traditions mythologiques, un motif en particulier me fascine, c'est la descente volontaire d'un héros ou d'une héroïne dans un monde souterrain invisible aux mortels, par exemple le monde des Enfers dans les épopées grecques, ou l'Enfer chrétien. C'est toujours une initiation afin d'acquérir un savoir, un pouvoir, une guérison, une quête à la recherche d'une âme, ou encore pour une transformation personnelle.
Et l'aventure ne s'arrête pas là. Descendre aux Enfers, puis remonter sur une terre peuplée d'êtres fabuleux, donne souvent aux héros le droit d'entrevoir le Paradis. C'est le cas de Dante lorsqu'il raconte son voyage spirituel dans les livres de La Divine Comédie.
Je souhaite vous convier à un tel voyage mythologique, des Enfers au Paradis, en nous intéressant aux artistes qui s'inspirent de ces mythes pour mieux inspirer nos vies. Dans mes romans, je ne cesse aussi de les réécrire ou d'y faire référence.
Nous prendrons alors pour guides l'œuvre de poètes, d'écrivains, d'artistes et de musiciens. Ces œuvres seront des passerelles vers les mythes gréco-romains qui me sont chers, vers les mythes nordiques que je ne connais pas encore, ou vers des récits bibliques qui m'ont formée.

Superbe idée, et très bien réalisé. On ne s’ennuie pas une seconde. Amélie, ceci devrait être le début d’une grande série. Pourquoi ne pas aussi enregistrer tous vos livres en version audio?

Waste of time, primitive, banal
Ce livre est une honte. N'a rien à voir avec Dante ou la Divine Comédie. Totalement banal et primitif. référence mythologique si peu profonde, incroyable. Questions de l'auteur Pourquoi la viole de gambe s'appelle viole de gambe oh ah... quelle est la différence entre harpe ou lyre si naïve, un gaspillage complet !
This book is a shame. Has nothing to do with Dante or Divine Comedy. Utterly banal and primitive. Mythological references so shallow, incredible. Questions by the author Why viola da gamba is called viola de gamba oh ah ....what is a difference between harp or lyre so naive, complete waste!
