Ok

Good points. This is not yet another diet book stating this is the only program to lose weight. The book itself is fair and it may assist some in weight loss but, the content is a bit broad. There are many factors that involve weight loss. The author speak in terms of limited beliefs as one of the causes provide some tools on how to overcome them but, as anyone with limiting belief can attest unless outside resources are implemented to reinforce the new perspectives received i.e. therapist, counseling, groups, friends, family, church, the mind will default to it's normal programming and thus remove the gains over time. Aside from this, the narrator sounds like a robot so, hard to concentrate.

Big Picture Stuff

While this book is not going to tell you how to lose weight in reference to a diet…. It is going to help you to ask bigger self questions like why…. Why I came this way.…. Why I’m OK with this weight,… what got me into the situation?….. and what can get me out…. All from a law of attraction perspective. interesting

Too much woo woo

if universal knowledge, vibrational energy and such is your thing, this is your book! While it had too much woo-woo New Age-y stuff for me, the author makes some valid points. One can have the ientirely wrong attitude and internal self-talk to have success in any endeavor, including weight loss.. You can sabotage yourself by what you say out loud and to yourself, and everyone can certainly be more mindful about the words that we speak and our internal self-talk.

Consistent to The Law

Every Chapter resonates with my understanding of The Law of Attraction. Definitely worth a second listen…

I was very disappointed in this book. I kept waiting for the part that covers weight loss and it never came.

I need weight loss, not meditation.

most of this book is about meditation. I can meditate while I'm on a treadmill.
