The Learn in Your Car language series is the first system ever designed to teach a language in your car...or anywhere...without a textbook. Simple and effective, you can learn to converse in another language while driving, walking, or doing tasks around the house. And now with Learn in Your Car, you can turn your PC, your Rio, or any mobile device into your own personal language tutor.
Each course is organized the way you learn best - by learning words and phrases - and building these into sentences and clear conversations. Arrange hotel accommodations, order in restaurants, change money, and feel more at home next time you travel!
The Learn in Your Car language series is:
- Easy to use without a textbook
- Prepared by dialect-free professionals
- Available in levels for students of all abilities
- Designed to teach grammar basics through recorded examples
Level 1 offers an introduction to key words, numbers, phrases, sentence structure, and basic grammar.
Level 2 teaches more challenging vocabulary, additional grammar, and targeted sentences designed to generate confidence in your ability to comprehend and converse.
Level 3 presents expanded vocabulary, advanced grammar, and more detailed sentences to extend your conversational skills.

Format is made up of an English sentance followed by it being translated in Spanish twice. This format makes learning easy as you are taking small bytes of info at a time. . However as there are no long conversatioins I found I needed more material to practice my Spanish as so am learning from "Spanish without the fuss" by Living Language.
I tried Barons and found it too much immersion as I did not know what was being said

What made the experience of listening to Learn in Your Car the most enjoyable?
You can learn Spanish in your car, and they move slowly enough that you can follow it. They give the English sentence, and then repeat the Spanish sentence twice, allowing time for you to repeat it. They also introduce words slowly so you can increase your vocabulary. For example, "I sold my car." "You sold your house on the beach." "You (formal) sold my things." ... So you pick up vocabulary. Also, by the time you move through all 3 sets (3 hours each), you will have covered 4 tenses (present, past (preterite), past imperfect, and future. Because the speaker always speaks complete sentences, you learn the order of sentences in Spanish without thinking about it. I can listen to these over and over to help improve, as I do not practice speaking in Spanish as much as I would like.Any additional comments?
I highly recommend this language set.Great Spanish Tapes!!!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
My Level One is a cassett version which includes a listeners guide. I use the guide to keep track of where I am and to clarify anything that I don't hear distinctly. I miss the guide in audible Level Two.What did you like best about this story?
This program worked well for me in Level One so I expect to learn with Level Two as well. What does the narrator bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Very clear pronounciation.Any additional comments?
I am fairly new to using my kindle. I decided to use it for this particular publication because I expected the kindle to accommodate audio along with a display of the listeners guide. My mistake but someone else might benefit from my experience.Note - Listeners Guide Not Included
