Crack me up

This is a pretty decent book to start with for vocabulary. Id recommend taking the words and making flash cards. My only issue is some of the sentences. I swear I found myself saying “wtf lol” quite a bit.

A great tool to help you learn a language

It is best to be in France and to always speak French to learn a language quickly.

However with tools like this Audio Book you can gain command of French.... it is a great tool among many others to increase
your ability to speak the language.

The Narrator did a good job with the material.

too busy..not enough Explaination of words

found myself confusing target words with long sentences.would be better to use English sentence first to know where target word is

Very helpful, but needlessly complicated examples

I do like this book, but I don’t understand why the examples need to be soo complicated and unrealistic at times. Simple and relevant real-world examples would’ve been much more useful to me, rather than putting a common word in with a number of much less common words in a needlessly complicated example sentence. The narration is good though. Only as dry as is required for clarity of listening.

No PDF

three chapters of introduction . This is less useful without the pdf text to follow the audio.

Not For the Beginner

The concept is great, but the execution is poor. The problem is that the sample sentences are very complex and have so many words that the lesson gets completely lost. Shorter sentences, emphasis on the word being learned, and a vocabulary that slowly builds would have been much better. Also, more repetition is necessary. Even at 85% speed, the second time the sentence is spoken is in "fast French." And if you miss it, there is no third repetition.

Versatile Sentences

These 2000 sentences were often, surprisingly, entertaining. They covered so many real life statements. Crime, love or lack of, business/office situations, social issues, politics and much, much more. And when a word had 2 meanings they cleverly used both meanings in tne SAME sentence!!

You will not get bored!
