Publisher's summary

A nonfiction exploring some of Northern Canada's greatest forgotten mysteries - the stories and legends surrounding the watershed of the South Nahanni River.

Deep in the heart of the Canadian North lies a mysterious valley shrouded in legend. Lured by tales of lost gold, prospectors who enter it tend to lose their heads or vanish without a trace. Some say that the valley is cursed - haunted by an evil spirit whose wailings echo in the canyons. Others claim that it is home to monsters - relics of its prehistoric past. What secrets could the valley be hiding? What mysteries lie buried beneath its misty shroud?

Amazing Journey

Amazing complication of great stories and Legends, spun like a perfect spider web by the author. Easy and engaging to listen to. It ended too soon.

One more I really enjoyed!

I loved it!, I gifted several copies to friends and family all came back very positive feedback. The author’s narration gets better with each book, his Canadian accent really brings the stories alive. Kept a pen and paper close so could make notes and look up locations people and films mentioned in the book.

A good book about a place I’ve never heard of

Well presented. The performance was…meh. Lots of cool info about a place I’ve only recently heard about.
The Nahanni Valley has become a bucket list destination for me.

Thank you Hammerson!

Wonderful book to take your mind far away from the world we’re stuck with today! Looking forward to the next listen by Mr. Peters!

Great content, not the best narration

This book tells of a spooky corner of the Canadian wilderness which is criminally under-explored in the modern paranormal scene. Really intriguing. Very well written. It IS worth the listen.

Unfortunately, the author-narrator lacks in the latter area. Pacing is inconsistent, as is the audio quality. Chapters are not well defined - the next chapter begins immediately after the last sentence of the preceding one. They also aren't announced as "Chapter X:". He also reads way way too fast.

Didn’t lag

The stories kept your attention and I enjoyed the detail and “evidence” the author provides.
