Jack Knight-Snow has had a bad year for losing things. I absolutely loved this story. Jack and Ciara have great chemistry and the story was really entertaining. The narrators did a great job and I enjoyed listening to them. I love reading anything published by Nicole Van because of her witty sense of humor and ability to weave stories.

The story continues to be as strong as ever, with dinner plot twists thrown in here that are critical to the over arching series story line. The hardest part about this book is coming to understand just how broken our happy, brilliant character from the last two books is inside. Ciara and Jack get their HEA, though.

Now let's talk about the narrators. The woman voicing Ciara was pretty good. The constant accent changes continue to be hard for all of the narrators, but she manages pretty well. She has only the occasional slip.

The male narrator does a nice job with Jack, and his voice is passionate and animated in all the right places (which was missing in book 2).

The best part of switching for entirely new narrators for each book is that you have the opportunity to hear each main character given a distinct voice.

The cons are that the quality of narration varies from book to book, and EVERY character gets a new voice from book to book. All three D'Angelo brothers show up frequently in this book, and their voices are nothing like the previous books. There's an adjustment period for the first part of every book in this series, and sometimes the voice seems just wrong because it is so different than their way off speaking in a previous book where they were the main character.

Ordinarily at this point we should go to Judith and Cesare's book, but I'm getting fatigued, so I'll go on to Tennison's, and the series ending. Bring on the tears in reality!
