Competent reading, but strange accents

Sure the little Lord's benevolence is over the top, and the likelihood of an old mean white dude changing his ways are slim, but that's the magic of this story. It is a fairytale version of real life. Sometimes you need the refuge of a book like this with its wholesome cast of characters.
I loved the many voices of the narrator. I can find no fault with the editing either, but her accents are very strange. The American poor all seemed to speak with Cockney intonations. It was at times disorienting to the listener.

wonderful narration of a childhood favorite

Little Lord Fauntleroy is a favorite book of my childhood, and this narrator brings it to life just in the way I would imagine it being told, before bedtime.

Absolutely loved it.
