So Realistic!

Let’s start off with the basics:

The narration was amazing.
The story was fresh with a great plot twist!

Character development throughout this whole series has been so realistic and well-thought-out.

London Calling visits so many places like Rome, London, and paints them just as they are!

Out of the many kids’ spy series, this is by far the best + my personal favorite. Spy School by Stuart Gibbs is okay, but too tedious and not realistic in the least. This series (and book) keeps you on your toes throughout the entire book!

Side note: in Rome when the characters visit the Spanish Steps, they mention an amazing gelatoria directly nearby. This isn’t really true, there weren’t any in the plaza below when I visited a week ago. More like a few streets away.

This book is amazing and worth the wait.

100% recommended!!

Good story

The story was good, lots of action and well played out scenes. I feel that during ch 14 when the meet Barbara the narration speeds up so I had so slow it down to .85 speed and it sounded right again. I feel like there needs to be more books in the series. I found that some aspects that were added in were not continued or went into depth about why that was said or happened.

Great but I thought beating Le Fanta,e would be harder

I loved how they found Annie in the beginning, the brother sister bond was very interesting and added lots to the story. But I would have liked the ending to be a little more eventful.

I was crying with happiness, panic and sadness

I was crying and having panic attacks throughout this whole book. I was also jumping up and down with happiness. I am sad to hear that this might be the last book in the series. It would be amazing if books were created about everyone's future, especially with Brooklyn raising in the ranks of MI6.

Action packed

The first time there isn’t any action and you get to breathe is chapter 20. It’s great

Ponte is an excellent story teller! I started listening and all else stopped until I got to the end.
