Publisher's summary

Prosecutor Sophie Dawson's first job in the White Collar division of the Fulton County D.A.'s office is to build a case against a local bank employee who may be cheating clients. But when circumstances beyond her control leave her as the only witness to a double homicide involving a vengeful gang, her world is turned upside down.

Former Atlanta police officer turned private security guard Cooper Knight is hired to ensure that Sophie is kept safe. But as threats escalate, they don't know who they can trust. Sophie is determined not to back down, but her bank case gets more complicated by the day, and the gang will stop at nothing to keep her from testifying. Sophie wants to take a stand for what's right - but can Cooper, who is determined not to be distracted by their growing attraction, keep her safe so that she can finish her pursuit for justice?

Great book

It was very good. I love all the twist and turns. The narrator was a bit flat for me but still great series.

Great legal thriller

I enjoyed the twists and turns as a prosecutor works through two cases with a surprising ending. I recommend this book for the young adult reader.

The life that high profile lawyers live

The constant ride…It never stop’s the intrigue ,the money and why people choose money over regular prosecution and defense attorneys. It’s really a choice life styles. It’s a ride that you won’t soon forget. If you like constant drama you will definitely will love this book! Suddle Christian vibes and I would love it to be more.My choice because I trust GOD in all my ways and that includes my reading.Life is hard but GOD IS ALWAYS there to hold our hands! Love the whole story! I believe you will too!

The ending disappointing

Was really enjoying the story until the author took a great character Patrick, and had him dump all his morals and join the most vile woman to ever exist. Really killed the story for me. Having her get rid of one bad client, but infer she would still defend the scum of the earth for money and fame, and have Patrick still join her practice was gut wrenchingly disgusting.
