Story
Struggling New York actress Alison has an outwardly good life: toned body, plenty of dates, a comfortable daily regimen. Still, she feels stagnant, empty, and as blocked as the river view from her Upper West Side apartment. Now divorced and in her mid-30s, she has never gotten past an early childhood trauma of being torn away from her brother and sister when her parents separated. Since then, nothing sticks. No one stays. She craves a sense of permanence, a place to call home.

Story
Talking about death and dying is considered taboo in polite company, and even in the medical field. Our ideas about dying are confusing at best: Will our memories flash before our eyes? Regrets consume our thoughts? Does a bright light appear at the end of a tunnel? For most people, it will be a slower process, one eased with preparedness, good humor, and a bit of faith. At the forefront of changing attitudes around palliative care is hospice nurse Hadley Vlahos, who shows that end-of-life care can teach us just as much about how to live as it does about how we die.

Bridget and Will have the kind of relationship that people envy: They’re loving, compatible, and completely devoted to each other. The fact that they’re strictly friends seems to get lost on nearly everyone. For three decades, they’ve nurtured their baby, the Forsyth Trio - a chamber group they created as students with their Juilliard classmate Gavin Glantz. In the intervening years, Gavin has gone on to become one of the classical music world’s reigning stars, while Bridget and Will have learned to embrace the warm reviews and smaller venues that accompany modest success.

Story
On a hot day in Bethlehem, a 12-year-old Palestinian-American girl is yelled at by a group of men outside the Church of the Nativity. She has exposed her legs in a biblical city, an act they deem forbidden, and their judgement will echo on through her adolescence. When our narrator finally admits to her mother that she is queer, her mother's response only intensifies a sense of shame: "You exist too much," she tells her daughter. Told in vignettes that flash between the US and the Middle East, we trace her progress from blushing teen to sought-after DJ and aspiring writer.

Publisher's summary
Blending sexual intensity with spiritual understanding, Love Driven Out of the Linear is a powerful story about romance, erotica, and metaphysics.
When Ben Besdine meets Emma Ennis, a breathtakingly beautiful single mother from Georgia, the bond and chemistry they share is unlike anything Ben has ever experienced. Their instant connection and captivating chemistry is something Ben had longed for his entire life. The familiarity between them triggered memories of their past lives together, and Ben knew she would be his wife from the first moment he laid eyes on her.
After a whirlwind, erotic romance filled with explosive sexual intensity taking them from Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angles, to New York...Emma and her young son finally move from Atlanta to live with Ben in his Beverly Hills estate.
But will their love be enough to overcome their emotional baggage? With Emma's hostile family and vindictive ex-husband battling her for custody and an unforeseen tragedy that threatens their new life...will they have to wait for another incarnation, or will they be able to live together in this life?

If you like 50 Shades…this is for you
Riveting love story that proves spiritual healing can turn around one’s darkest thoughts.
Based in Beverly Hills with various visits around LA County is fun if you are familiar with the area, albeit the east coast is not left out. This is a love story unlike any other so I don’t want to give anything away. Get ready for some twists and turns along with intense (&erotic) love and dysfunctional family issues in the midst of some normalcy.
The narrators are exceptional.

It feels little like this adventure is just beginning.
